How is everyone doing? I've been lurking and havent posted much. I'm still stuck in Hell.. I mean Mississippi. Keesler AFB sucks ass, Thankfully i'm only here till October 23rd. I'm doing pretty good though, i hate waking up at 4am for class and cant wait till that stops. When i first got here i found out i was going to Hawaii, but they pulled a fast one and changed me to Langley, so now i'm going to Virginia for 2 years. At first i didn't want to do it, but now that it sunk in, I'm not to disappointed, family is closer and i might even try to go to a Broncos game. Gotta run though, ttyl.

Good to hear you're doing well Ratboy. My brother was at Kessler, he was training to become an Air Traffic Controller. He became a civilian last November and is now working as an Air Traffic Controller at Hill Air Force Base, with a starting wage of 75,000/year. Unbelievable.

Good luck ratboy.
Hill AFB is a nice place actually and if you can get past all the Mormons SLC isn't that bad either . Their golf course on base has some of the thickest rough though. But it's pretty cool to play with the scenic mountains and fighter jets taking off...can be interesting though when one goes full afterburner during the middle of your swing. |

Hehe, I didn't say Hill, i said Hell (Keesler AFB). But my first Duty Station will be Langley AFB, VA. But the good news is, i graduate Tech School on Oct 23rd and I'm leaving the next day. Not sure when i'm heading to Virginia exactly, but i got to be there before Nov 19th. I wish i could go back home to Patrick AFB, but I guess langley is fine.. |

Hey...How's it going....Kessler wasn't that bad....that's where I went to Tech school. But it was my class that changed the rules for those that followed
Langley huh...wow I bet you can't wait to get there and to the normal Air Force, and don't worry you won't be a bottom dewller for too long! |
