Default Im not gonna lie...

I was hoping (still am) for Jake to get hurt, not seriously, just the wind knocked out of him or a mild concussion or something like that. I just wanna see what The Kid can do, and also so the people who were booing could shut the F up.
The bottem line Jay can make better and more types of throws than Jake.
Everyone thinks is stupid to start a rookie, has anyone heard of that

Rookie QB's like Roethlisberger who are able to dominate instantly are quite rare. I would prefer to do with Jay what the Bengals did with Palmer. Sit him a year (or two) and then bring him in and let him take over.

I know you didn't want to lie, but I hope you don't mind if I do.

I think you're brilliant.

That'd be our first good move if we want to host every one of these teenagers.

What would you prefer to talk about this week? Jason Elam's first, second, or third field goal? Take your pick. I'm game. Let's talk about field goals.

Just because Plummer/Cutler is all you want to talk about anymore doesn't mean that the rest of us feel the same way.

Then what are you doing in threads about Jay/Jake? I haven't personally started a single Jay/Jake thread after this game. I've been using the ones that "the rest of us" have been starting to talk about the situation...

I'm not certain why you wouldn't want to discuss the most pressing Broncos issue today on a discussion board dedicated to the Broncos, but I'm not here to judge people's motives. More importantly, I'm not sure how or why someone could come up with the take that they don't want to talk about Jay/Jake in the middle of a Jay/Jake thread.

My point is that we've got about two dozen new Plummer/Cutler threads popping up every day. It's worse than this summer when anyone who had a thought about Ashley Lelie seemingly felt compelled to start a new thread about it. Of course you're perfectly OK with it because you've become downright obsessive over the QB situation.

I'm not certain why you feel the need to cut and paste the same lines you've been spouting over and over and over for months now, but I guess you want to make sure that no one forgets that you hate Jake Plummer.

Whatever makes you happy, I guess.

I guess I didn't see your thread talking about anything else. Can you give me the link?

I see, so its okay to fill the front page with kick-Plummer-to-the-curb threads, but anything else gets merged regardless of the level of interest.

If nothing else you are consistent, eh?

Why? So you can turn it into another Plummer/Cutler thread? No thanks.

I don't personally merge too many threads... It's pretty rare when I do. So I'm not certain what your complaint is with me.

Like I said, I missed the thread where you tried to bring up something else. Can you give me the link?

How about the loathsome play of the offensive line? The decline of Rod Smith? The slow integration of the new offseason acquisition Javon Walker? The disappearance of Sheffler and Marshall? The progress of Tatum and Mike Bell? The play of the second year DB's? Why on earth DJ Williams has looked like a third-rate player? How about the major topic on this board for the past three seasons: has the pass rush improved? What about the difference in the scheme since Pryce left? Is Gerard Warren living up to his contract? Why are we not recognizing Ekuban and Ferguson for their successful play? What is wrong with the pass protection?

There are plenty of other topics.

So who is stopping you? I'm not suprised to see the Drama Llama complaining. I am suprised to see Clockwork playing the Drama Llama's whiney sidekick. Nobody is stopping anybody from talking about anything they want to here. What's the point of going into a Jake/Jay thread and complaining that people are talking about Jake/Jay? They're only the biggest topic in Broncoland this year. Thank Shanahan for drafting Jay for that. I didn't make that decision.

I have avoided those threads for the most part because its nothing but boring circular discussion right now.

Since you asked, here are some things that I have been discussing:

Hey, maybe you could start a thread about it and see if people respond. Just taking a wild stab in the dark.

Well that's great! I'm glad to see that you're not actually being stopped from talking about whatever you want to. That's fantastic!

So what were you whining about again?

I dont think that he's playing anyone's sidekick. It's obvious to anyone who visits the bronco discussion forum that those threads are all over the place. If you want to read some fan recaps of the game then you are probably in the wrong place here. This is the "Jake Plummber is teh ghey" forum today. You cant find much else out about the game.

It's already been mentioned that the mods around here get pretty merge-happy whenever anyone dares to have multiple threads these days......unless it's about TJ's beloved QB discussion, of course. You know, the discussion that hasn't been beat to death a million times over or anything. But hey, it's your board.

And on a personal note, you can go **** yourself.
