Default Herm.... wow.

Did anyone watch his press conference on NFL Network?

I'm pretty sure he just recounted the entire overtime period completely wrong... I mean not even close. Talked about multiple possessions, etc. Please tell me someone else saw this? I honestly think he might be bi-polar or something... not just slow.

Another bizarre coaching performance from Herm, today. Imagine one of his teams having clock management problems near the end of a game. Weird, huh?

As I said when they signed him, I just couldn't be happier he landed in K.C..

well he did help us out big time with his clock management with 2 minutes left and his team at midfield.

I have to know if anyone saw it. Maybe I misunderstood the question. But they asked him about overtime, and he talked about how each team had a few possesions!?!?

Germ certainly gave us some help in this game. Bob is over on Cheaps planet trying to blame those run calls in the two minute drill on Mike Solari. Their offense certainly looked "Hermed down" to me.

He went to the Mike Martz school of clock management.

It's all part of "Herm Warfare".

lmao. I wish I had seen it. What was he waiting for, the skies to part and Tom Dempsey's ghost to come out and kick a 63 yarder??

"You play to win the game."

unless there is two minutes left, and you need a fg to win. Than you just play not to lose..,.....

Best off season signing IMO for all AFC West teams.

It couldn't have possibly been as entertaining as last week when he teetered on the brink of one of his famous hissy fits when a reporter asked him about being conservative with the offense against the Bengals.

I wish I could have seen the possesions question that would have been funny. Maybe he was listening to Jim Nantz and simms have a lovers spat over how OT works. The best is when Simms lost his cool and said, "LET ME talk"

Dude, the Herm Edwards post game speach is unreal. I think he is bi-polar. WTF is the matter with him. It is unreal.

It's on NFL.COM right now.

Try linking it again, that's not working... I'd love to see if I misunderstood what he was saying, or if he's just on another planet.

Actually, I found the link... but it's not working for me. Does he talk about overtime?

He is so foolish, he is talking about the last possesion like "Well we had a chance to kick the FG on the last drive, but we didn't do it"

Maybe because you wasted the entire clock you stupid fk, not to mention the way he screwed up the last play of the 1st half, he should have run a quick draw out of the shotgun and then called timeout. It was the obvious call, give LJ a chance to score.

Thank goodness he's with the Chiefs.

Lamar Hunt and Peterson SUCK!!!!!!

Hunt still the owner there?? lol at myself for not even knowing if that dude is dead or not.

I can't really link it popps, but it is on the front page of NFL.COM, right side on videos. I was so hyped to see it after this thread. Unreal.

"We got the ball in overtime"

I mean, I know he's flustered, it was a close game, his mind is busy with a million things going on, like how to run out the clock in a tie game...but how do you screw up the facts of the game that bad?

lmao, I crack myself up.

For some reason it's not opening in my browser. I gotta see this again.

I almost swear he talked about how they gave us two possessions.

Again, I could have heard that part wrong, but I don't think I did. Anyone else watch this yet? I mean, I can't imagine how the media wouldn't all over this. It's absolutely bizarre if it's the case.

No way ludo, he clearly said "You don't often get the ball twice in OT, and they got it first, we stopped them, then we couldn't do anything, and then they drove down and won it".

It's right on nfl.com. Popps, you might need to download the latest realplayer, it's free. Nfl.com has sweet highlight videos now to, recap the games really fast, decent commentary.

"Generally, you don't get the ball twice in overtime, once a team gets it twice, it generally ends right there. They got, we stopped them, then we didn't make any hay with it, and they got it back and made a couple plays, and won it" - Herm Methadone Edwards

This is nothing short of mind-blowing. Minutes after a huge OT loss and the guy can't remotely recount the events? I can't believe the media hasn't ran with this one.

Seriously... imagine being a fan and hearing this from your coach.

I've been saying for a couple of years that I honestly don't think this guy understands what's going on around him.

Just baffling.
