Why does everyone who talks smack in this context (online and off) always states that "he heard". Watch a football game sometime, its pretty fun.

Great thread...except that Walker was 8 times more productive than lelie this past weekend. That's with Walker not playing especially well.
If you tune in to a falcons game you can probably see the thread starter swinging from lelie's crotch. |

he gets a hall pass for last game. i'm worried that he'll make rod obsolete, if anything.

I had some concerns around drop #4, but I'm over it. I'd rather have him bang all the rust off in week one than break him in slowly.

Amazingly, with all the drops, and all the sacks, and all the mistakes Denver made...they still had a shot in the 4th qtr, with 5 or so minutes left, to win this game. I have no doubts about Walker, or Smith, or the Bells, or Plummer. I thought it was classy of CBS to take a long, long, long shot of Cutler in the sidelines at the end of the first half. Whatever. Broncos will crush KC. Then go on to New England and make the Patriots look like the ass clowns they are.

Combine the losses on your o-line in the off season, the lack of true improvement on defense, the fact that Gunther is still your DC and the loss of your starting QB and yes your season is over KC troll. Ben |

Why would Walker be any different? Walker will be fine. If not, he gets cut at the end of the year. No biggie. Thanks for being obvious. ![]() |

His first regular season game since last year's opener and very little preseason work. I personally was impressed at the seperation and phsyical play he displayed. Catching the ball won't be a problem over the course of the season, and its nice to see a #2 who has the sack to go over the middle and fight DBs off for the catch.

Javon Walker: 3 catches, 41 yards
Eddie Quittison & Sami Parker combined: 3 catches, 38 yards So in a subpar performance, Walker still outperformed the Chefs top two receivers combined. Don't worry though, you've got Rod Gardner coming to save the day now. ![]() |
