Jim Nantz, Phil Simms, and Bonnie Bernstein this week.
Finally, some decent commentators. One of the benefits of winning is that we are more likely to get the top broadcast teams. You won't hear Phil Simms making reference to "The Drive" being on "this field" (Invesco Field? Besides the fact that - stating the obvious here - the game was played in Cleveland, even if it had been played in Denver, "this field" wasn't even a little stadium sperm when "The Drive" took place. Bill Maas...oy vey! PLEASE! Don't make us have to go through that ever again. The only other game we have on Fox will be the Eagles game. Hopefully, that draws Fox's best team). |

Simms has been on the Bronco wagon for awhile now. I like hearing good stuff about the Broncos all game long but it does get annoying.

We will hear Simms tell us how he was behind these moves (Browncos) from the start, which is cool...

I hope the Broncos not only win convincingly, but also the announcers are so syrupy and profuse with their kudos, accolades and praise that the entire fandom of the chievies and the faiders are left with permanent and total brain damage from tossing their cookies and losing their grips. Maybe we will get lucky and it will nauseate Boob so much that he will leave the Board and never return.
I could live with that. |

For the Giants, we get Phil Simms, Jim Nantz, and Bonnie Bernstien again.
Not bad - beats most of the alternatives. |

Simms is so good when compared to the rest of the garbage they put in front of a microphone and it kills me to say that.
On a positive note Bonnie Bernstein is a pro. Great combination of knowing how to do her job and being attractive. The less I see of Old Vern the better.... As for Ali G, Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius. |

Simms knows his stuff. He also said in early Pre-season that the Browns players we picked were "the best move of the offeseason." Gotta love that!

Eagles at Broncos
Dick Stockton, Troy Aikman, and Pam Oliver Not bad, I guess. At least we didn't get Bill Maas. Not sure how many of you care about whose announcing the games, but it is one of the first things I look at, when the information is made available. |
