Default Chiefs to continue to pay homage to child molester

Apparently the Chiefs fans just cant let go. They love child molester, Gary Glitter's song "Rock and Roll Part II" so much that they've decided to remake their own version of it so that they can play it after touchdowns.

Depends on:

1. Whether he wrote the music,

2. Whether he still owns (or ever owned) copyright, if he wrote it.

Just seems they are hatching a way to do this so the guy doesn't get paid. If that were not the case then they would just say **** it and use the original song...

So let's see:

1. They disrespect the National anthem by replacing the word Brave with Chiefs
2. They are going to use a song after TDs written by a person convicted of child molestation even though the league has asked teams not to
3. In said TD song, they choose to use the an espletive in a chant they do during the song.

Classy.

I don't get what the big deal is. It's not like it's a song about molesting children and he didn't commit the crime while he wrote it. It sounds stupid to me.

Maybe the Chiefs can produce their own version of Michael Jackson's "Bad" and claim that it's not a Michael Jackson song...

I don't have a problem with the league wanting to nix it in the least...

I am trying to see what the big deal is with making another one like it to keep a tradition yet not fill the pockets of the guy...

I guess people in Kansas City go to Arrowhead on Sunday's to celebrate the molestation of children....

I see Zach is continuing to spread the myth that it's quiet in Invesco when he's never even been there.

If you've been there, I'd imagine it would have to be during a Chiefs game. If you've been there during a Chiefs game, there's no way you could have the take that the stadium is quiet.

I've always liked Sandstorm by Da Rude, or Song 2 by Blur much better as a TD songs then Rock and Roll Part 2 anyways.

In my madden games at home when ever someone scores a TD we play the 'chours' of sandstorm and dance around. lol

I know on MNF last year, Trent Green was shocked... The first drive he had to call a time out, and let the fans know that they were in his head. It was a bad night after he went and did that. It just got louder after that.

Shocked.

You're just being a snob because your team blows and will always play second fiddle to ours. If it makes you feel better to think your stadium is "louder", well hey, you gotta hang your hat on something right? Loser.

I just thought it was funny you were sooooo sure I had never been.

Had a blast though...had fun in Denver...met some cool football fans. Invesco is a great place to catch a game...but I couldn't believe the crowd noise...I jsut had high expectations going in. I think its better since...but ****...

Anyway, fun trip went with a good buddy of mine...game didn't turn out like I would have wanted it but it was a damn fine game of football.

Nope. Portis was traded. That was the game Plummer tried to throw a pass with his left hand and it was intercepted.
