I heard that the green light has been given for a Wonder Woman movie. The above lovely ladies have been suggested for the role. According to rumors, Katharine McPhee is the favorite. Who would you choose?
Me, I hate when the actor/actress chosen is too different from the actor/actress who played the original role. If I had to choose from the list, I would go with Kate Beckinsale. If I could add someone, I would say Catherine Zeta-Jones looks most like Lynda Carter. |

Whoever plays Wonder Woman has to be fairly tall and statuesque to fit the lore of Wonder Woman. Rebecca Romijn would be perfect for that role...

I would go with either Chrasmia Carpenter or Erica Durance, they both would pull it off nicely, Carpenter is a bit older than Durance but not by much. If Monica Belluci was about 10 years younger she would have been perfect. She doesn't look old now but if the movie is a success (which I doubt, they can't sell the book, why would a movie work? ala Catwoman) they would do sequels about every two or three years and that would put Belluci at 45 after two pics.

I would think Stacy Kiebler from the world of wrestling would be perfect for that role.

'The O.C.' star Rachel Bilson is reportedly set to play Wonder Woman in the new comic book movie.
The brunette actress - best known for playing ditzy Summer Roberts in the hit teen series - will don the famous starred hot pants and wield her gold whip in the film. Bilson has already proved her suitability for the iconic part, after she donned a Wonder Woman outfit for a sexy seduction scene in 'The O.C.'. A host of Hollywood stars had been tipped for the role, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Cameron Diaz and 'Van Helsing' actress Kate Beckinsale, who turned down the part saying she "did not want to embarrass her daughter" by wearing the revealing outfit. The character was made famous by Lynda Carter in the classic 70s TV series. Producers Warner Bros. have so far refused to confirm reports Bilson has landed the role. http://www.pr-inside.com/the-o-c-sta...new-r18553.htm ![]() Rachel Bilson dressed as Wonder Woman. "The Jacket" was awesome ... anybody? A modern, thinking person's horror flick. |
