1. throw things on the field?
2. call for Cutler? 3. shout encouragement? 4. curse? ![]() 5. call shanahan a bum? 6. engage in fights with other fans you disagree with? 7. run on the field an attempt a completion yourself? ![]() |

If Jake throws a pick in week one? Just chalk it up as another Sunday with Jake Plummer as your QB. You did watch the playoffs, right?

How many Bronco fans are going to be in St. Louis to do some of those things?

Consider in the context of how it happened, later in the context of his whole game, and the next day in the context of it being just one game.

As a typical Bronco fan, I will do all the above, plus burn any Plummer paraphenalia I have laying around.
Seriously, the dude is gonna throw a pick by week 2 (as will Manning, Brady, McNabb, etc)... This will be fun place then. |

Where is the "As expected" or "Jake being Jake" choice?

, a good fan leaps from one assumption and jumps to another conclusion. So in the tradition of not making sense, here's more options:8. Get a group to wear both 'Jake' and 'Jay' t shirts at the tailgate parties. Fun will ensue once everyone has a few beers! 9. Bring a suitable amount of bail money. |

Depends on the circumstances. Did we win? Did the INTs result in our loss? What type of pick was it - was the ball tipped; did the wide receiver totally get juked by the corner; was Jake rushed and threw a ball he shouldn't have? These are things I would take into consideration.

Hey, the Miami game was a justified b**** fest. We came out looking like garbage all the way around and the whole team was horrible. The Giants game we got screwed by the refs who refused to call blatant holding calls against the Giants particularly on that "game winning" drive they had. ****ing bull**** still pisses me off.

It is interesting that Jake fosters two distinct camps: either he is a very good QB or he is not a very good QB. I have not seen many posters here who are less passionate about him, either way. Strange.
For myself, I would want to see the circumstances in which the intercetion/fumble or other play took place. Further, I would think the rest of the team would have some part in the play, particularly the Oline and the WR/TE. So, I am basically less impassioned about Jake, and more passionate about the team as a whole. |

I think Jake will probably have a bad first game, and then settle down in week two... Like always.
I'm not worried about Jake in September - November. It's once the games start to become "must wins" that I become alarmed. |

Actually, over the past 2 years I have continually tried to make this point - Jake is a good qb (probably top quartile, definitely top 1/3) and not a true franchise qb. He brings a lot of good things (mobility, leadership, passion for winning) and some bad things (bone-headed plays, not a great deep arm). He has gotten better at Denver, and he can continue to improve, and it will not be dramatic or move him to a top tier qb. With the right team, he could win a SB, and he won't carry a team there on his shoulders. I like having him, and I have hopes that Cutler will eventually prove to be a better QB. |

If Tatum fumbles the ball, what will you do?
If Javon tips a ball subsequently intercepted what will you do? If Lynch misses a tackle and it goes the distance what will you do? If Foster misses a block and Jake gets creamed what will you do? Criminy. Might as well generate a little more negative energy. |
