WBC Round 1: United States vs. Australia - The Orange Mane

It's time for the games to count, as our boys take on Australia tonight at 11 PM for the majority of us living in the Mountain Time Zone.

I will be glued to the TV. I don't imagine they'll have a problem, but as Chris Berman always points out, "that's why they play the game."

I believe the game is on at midnight eastern on NBA Network. I just flipped the channel over there and that's what the crawl at the bottom of the screen said.

Hmm... I wonder if there's a tape delay going on ESPN2?

I know ESPN has basketball on tonight @ 1 am eastern, and it should be the USA game. Too bad I don't get NBATV, I guess.

USA cranked up the defense in the 2nd quarter and are turning this one into a laugher. They outscored the Aussies 32-6 in the 2nd quarter and lead at the half 59-29. Carmelo is leading the way with 13, Joe Johnson's got 12 and Wade has 10.

Looking good, boys.

And that's that. Team USA hammers Australia 113-73.

USA will play Germany on Wednesday.

Yeah, nice game USA! I watched the tape delay that started at 11 on ESPN2... It's still the 3rd quarter right now, but I had to turn it off, the game got boring.

Nice passing LeBron, and nice to see Joe Johnson contribute. Carmelo shooting well still.

Should beat Germany, they were saying on the telecast that the team is basically just Dirk... The march to the gold continues!

I saw the highlights of the end of the Germany/Nigeria game. Someone from the Nigerian team missed a game winning layup in the final seconds. If he makes that layup, Team USA is facing Nigeria in the next game.

USA will beat Germany anyway. Plus playing germany would be much more entertaining to watch imo than versing Nigeria.
