It appears that Fidel Castro is making a "remarkable" recovery as noted by Cuban government sources and "newpapers". However no pictures of this remarkable recovery. Then photos are released showing a thinner Castro reading a newspaper. The photos have not been authenticated and if they are from Reuters they are probably fake.
Anywho, this is all playing out like that movie "Weekend at Bernies" where a dead corpse, propped up by his buddies who don't want to let anyone know he is dead, is the life of the party. Ding, dong the witch is dead, the witch is dead, the witch is dead, ding dong the wicked witch is dead!! |

You know what is amazing, the libs and their 2000-04 election conspiracy theories. They're all up in arms, yet here we have Castro having been in power over 50 years in obvioulsy rigged elections and they have no problem with it! The libs just obsolutely LOVE Castro. Forget that people are leaving his island prison in record numbers.

I'm talking about Libs in general, not YOU specifically. Reading comprehension 101 is offered at '"Big J's" truck stop I believe.

lol. The scourge of liberals...bwaa ha ha haaa
Why did Bush admit after 9/11 "I wasn't on point, I DIDN'T FEEL A SENSE OF URGENCY, there are some things I wish we'd have done" - after being warned spefically that Al Qaeda was in the US and making plans to hijack planes and blow up federal buildings in NY. |

I don't think there's really any doubt that the majority of cubans support the ongoing revolution. Personally, I'd not want to trade social justice in giving the poor healtcare literacy crime protection etc. in exchange for personal liberties. However, the experience of middle class Americans and our forefathers is rather different to a starving Cuban.
It'll be interesting to see what happens when he finally dies. |

I don't think there's really any doubt that the majority of Cubans have to support the ongoing revolution.
Like all the other communist countries before it, the police state is very, very powerful there. Even though Fidel is still seen as a father figure to the country, the thought of being taken away at night, locked up then tortured lends to their support of the revolution. My prediction of what will happen when he dies – without outside influence that police state will go on. |
