Default Travis Pastrana Double Backflip

Holy Crap. I figured after they did the back flip there wasn't much more they could do.

How the hell do you just throw your bike down like that? The motorcycle gods shall turn on him now.

p.s. That was a hell of a jump.

I saw the replay of this, pretty damn cool.

I just wish Shaun White would have landed the 1080... He will, one day.

I was watching sportscenter the other night and on the crawl by sportsticker it said, "Dave Miara will pull out of X-games 12 due to a lacerated liver he suffered in practice Wednesday."

P*ssy.

they always talked about the regular backflip like it would be the holy grail and then all the sudden, i tune in and everybody is doing backflips with a buncha other stuff.

any bets on when the triple backflip will be?

I still want to know how he doesn't get a perfect score, do these judges think anything ever attempted up to this point could ever top that? By the way, check out how close his head gets to the lights up there, that's maybe about 3 feet...

His 98 was after the three jumps combined. Don't even tell me he didn't get a 10.0 on that jump because he didn't land without putting his hands on the bars.

His 98 was a combined score I think.

Man is still a long way away from reaching his limits on a bike.

If you want to see a real accomplishment on a motorcycle, go rent "World's Fastest Indian."

We were watching it last night live. I was so worried, I almost couldn't watch. It was unnerving to hear him tell his mom that he loved her no matter what happened and that he was having fun in his life. That said....it was freakin awesome.

And the commentators were right, whatever dip**** judge didn't give him the 100 should be shot. Two gave him 100's, and one a 96? Whaaaatt?

I always pull for Brian Deegan and the Mulisha boys, but way to go, Trav!

It's an embarassment to the Xgames that some idiot gave him a 96. What's that person doing judging competition?

Some idiot judge who is probably already enrolled in the Witness Protection Program. One of the commentators even mentioned in tonight's broadcast that he was still on the hunt for said judge......as are a few thousand others, I would imagine.

Watching tonight, two of the Mulisha riders took some nasty falls. I can't imagine how insane they really are to be doing stuff like that in the first place, but then to fall from 50 or more feet onto hard ground...wow.

Brian Deegan is short a kidney and strong on titanium innerwear now. Mike Metzger is short a testicle and some other semi-important things. Seriously, the guys are just nuts.

Gotta admit though, crazy sure is fun to watch!

Seeing what these guys do...it makes me wonder what kind of nonsense Evel Knieval would have been up to if the bikes he jumped were as light and powerful as today's.
