she has been tiptoeing on that fence for what seems like forever....

To win the Dem nomination she has to say this war is wrong.... This pisses off her more reasonably sane constituents, and flames the whack jobs on the far left.

To actually win the presidency, she has to say the war is right....this appeals to her more reasonably sane base, and pisses of the far left wing nut bags that have hijacked the Democrat party

Again...nobody has ever openly ran as a liberal, and won the presidency.

Well, the number of Americans who would publicly state that this war is "right" are dwindling every day. By the time the '08 election rolls around, we'll be able to hustle them all into one padded cell without too much trouble.

Errand you need to get alittle more up to date... from what i can tell there are very few people left who believe this war was the right thing to do. I'll gaurantee that by 2008 the only chance politicians will have to be elected is to take an anti war stance.

Sadly I think this late in the game with two years left in the game any one else will be just a bench warmer. I don't think Rummy has made the military more agile and nimble and quick action like he wanted. Sure the military is probably not what it should be but skipping a generation of weapons and fighting two overseas wars without asking the American public to actually sacriface like we did in WWII with gas rations and of that sorts. I don't see how it could have been achieved. Of course I only thought the first war in AFghan was neccassery not the Iraq war. Now Iran has no natural enemy at hand to keep it in check.
