Will the Broncos keep BVP?
Shanny could go with just 2 QB's this season. What do you think is in BVP's future? |

I like his intagibles much like Jake's... unfortunately, this guy just has a rag arm that will never materialize in the NFL. He came in during the SD game and Kubiak ran him more than he made him throw. Not a good sign. He is a feel good story because he is from CSU but I don't think he is going to make it.

He will either be the #3 QB (I think we keep 3 this year) or he will be let go and sign on with some crap team who needs depth.

He will be cut this year. Maybe earlier than we would think, so he has a chance to catch on with another team.

Where's the "selling shoes" option?
![]() I picture him as this Al Bundy type guy...but instead of scoring 4 TD's in one game it'll be "I ran for a TD in one game!" |

Interesting that it is 50/50 on whether he'll make the team. Only 20% see him over Cutler.
For the record I am riding the Jake train until the wheels fall off (or we lose 3 straight, whichever comes first) |

I never understood all the BVP bashing around here. Must be the CU vs CSU thing. Honestly I could give a rats ass about CU or CSU ties. I'm all about UofA myself. I'm homering on with Mike Bell.
BVP has heart/is a tough player and other than getting a bit excited at a CU game last year he has busted his balls to stay on this roster and has been a real team player. Amazes me that people were calling for Kanells pathetic ass to replace plummer not that long ago and we're ready to throw BVP under the bus on day 5 of camp. Not me. BVP could be crying that he is sliding into the #3 spot but you won't hear that from him. I'd like to see us utilize him in some capacity or atleast get a shot at being a back-up elsewhere. I'm not going to make any predictions if he sticks on this team until I see him with my owns eyes a bit more at camp. I know this much. BVP could easily pound the next 5 smak talkers into submission with a beer in one hand. ![]() You know I usually sit around the offseason lay low and read a bunch of stuff that I just ignore anyway but this is traning camp time/football time. I'm here to set the record straight on BVP. We need more guys like him that are willing to compete. If it came down to lelie or BVP for me I'd keep BVP. Yeah call me crazy but I at this point I think lelie would do more to hurt this team this season than help it. The Broncos need players on this team. BVP is a player. Lelie is just a pussie. He'll be the #2 when the season starts, but Cutler will take over by the end of the season. Brad may not even suit up for a few games late in the season. He'll be released or traded in the offseason and he'll bounce around the league as a backup that some coach is constantly trying to groom.
