Default What do Bronco fans think about the KC offense now?

How many points per game are we going to average? I know you guys are experts on the KC offense so I thought I'd ask.

RIGHT- ON, I'M MORE CONCERNED WITH RIVERS, TOMLINSON AND GATES, OR MOSS, PORTER AND BROOKS. KC IS THE CUBS OF THE NFL.

18-22 without a Starting level OT on either side. Steady decline, BOB.

2003 30+
2004 30+
2005 25 Without Roaf for six games and Welbourne for four.
2006 22- without Roaf and Welbourne for all 16, and no obvious skilled replacements.

Better hope that Cover two does much better than 21 points a game.

22 points a game would be fine by me.

That will be more than enough for our defense.

It was him. He was trying to bait us into an argument about whether KC can score 25+ a game and he thought more people would agree with him.

Hey spider, I know you're only operating with half a lobe, but try to understand.

Our defense allowed 20 points a game last year.

We added a Pro-Bowl Cornerback and a first-round talent at Defensive End.

Yep...22 points a game won't be near enough.

Your O won't be on the field as long this year so the opposing O will have more chances. You're going to have to score 5 more points a game just to break even. Toast.

Nothing.

Hello, Earth to Bob. Unlike your offensive arguments, they ARE changing the scheme in KC on defense. Herm Is going to play Cover two making the third scheme change in FOUR years. Your DL has just as many Holes as Denver and is just as Crappy at pass rush, Jared Allen notwithstanding. Tamba Hali is good, but he is going up against much better Competition, is not well rounded, and just as much a project as Dumervil at this point.

None of your LB's have ever played Cover two with one being a former 3-4 Rush LB, another a Rover LB at Texas. Derrick Johnson's coverage skills and discipline are NOT his strongpoints and those will be his primary responsibilities in that system. Your Safties were Abused deep and by TE's last year and you have no one better there to cover.

This defense does not have the Speed to play Cover two or the experience. The DT's have to get great penetration and you have ZERO @ DT. It is going to take awhile for that Defense to gel and you may very well be 0-5 before you get that first W. Losing to SF would be Priceless

KC will probably have to keep Gonzo on the line to block more.....Quitterson is dragging his feet... Richardson is gone and LJ doesn't have a dominant left tackle to plow for him. Sounds like a lot of 3 and out. The KC D will be on the field way more this season. Burnt toast.

Jared Allen + Tamba Hali pretty much outclasses your entire defensive line. Also, Hali was drafted in the first round, yet he's just as much of a project as Dumervil? That's...incredibly retarded.

More ignorance. Derrick Johnson's best attribute are his coverage skills. I mean...are you just pulling opinions out of thin air? That's what he's known for. Did you think he was some sort of pass-rush specialist?

We've got speed at linebacker...check.

We've got speed at corner....check.

We've got speed on the defensive line...check.

Yep...we don't have ANY speed.

So...you want to just delete your post, or what?
