Default *Mane sets an all-time member record - Orangemane Appreciation thread*

This is kind of a personal address to our forum. This site has absolutely gone nuts over the past few days with tremendous volume and an avalanche of new Bronco fans joining the fun.
We went from around 250 (ish) members logging into the site at this time last year, to an unprecedented 1100 active members viewing the Orangemane today. That is unreal! TJ, congrats on making this site into one of the premiere NFL fan sites on the net brother!

Now onto the part that concerns me... funding our beloved site.
I know it will sound preachy, but I know how much Taco John has to shell out for the server every few months and am concerned about keeping our beloved site up and functional. Keep in mind, this is not a buisness, just a passion that he has kept and nurtured for over 5 years and I'd like to throw some appreciation his way by helping raise some funds to help with our site.

Seeing how fast this site has grown and how much great material there is to have here, I'd urge everyone who wishes to take the time to donate a few bucks and click on the sponsor links because it does help offset the cost of our growing Bronco nation here on the site.

Every bit helps! For those who are wondering what is a proper amount, don't worry about it... Just ask yourself how much you feel the site has been worth to you (perhaps the cost of a going to a movie, a fast-food meal, etc), and what you can reasonably part with to help offset the cost!

Here's a link to the Orangemane's Paypal. And dont forget to take a few moments to click those banners and ads and help the Mane! GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!

Thanks Pez. I appreciate the nod, but want to make it clear that people should only click on ads that they're actually interested in... Don't just hammer ads. If you're interested in the subject, and might like to be exposed to content, please check them out. If not, don't click on them, and save your clicks for something that you're actually interested in. I don't want to encourage false clicking... It's a real problem for good folks trying to make their businesses work, and I don't want to take advantage of them. I'm always aiming for win-win situations.

And as for the rest, much thanks to the community here for being so great. Kaylore, SoCal and the gang at training camp is drawing a lot of interest... deservedly so. Meck and the gang with the bus obviously help a lot to keep new folks checking out the site as well... That's all good stuff, but even they'll tell you that it's the community here that makes this place so great. Yeah, like any online forum, we have our bickering bouts... But all in all, this place has delivered some great times for me, and hopefully for everybody else as well.

Go America. Go Broncos!

Just made my via paypal. Wow, that was too easy. Been wanting to donate but just didn't get around too it. Thanks for all you do TJ and thanks Pez for your work as moderator of this great website. I don't post as often as a lot of people but you can rest assured that this has been my homepage for as long as I've know about the site which is going on over 2 years now and I'm browsing constantly. I'm really impressed with the scouting reports Khan, Solcal, Mediator and others are posting . Its great to have good football knowledge and people who are willing to take their own time and keep us who aren't in the area informed.
Like Pez said donate early and donate often. Anyone who doesn't at least donate the cost of a steak dinner doesn't appreciate what we really have here.

This must be the reason that it's running so slow during the day?

HUGE reason it is running slow during the day, hopefully there are some tweaks left to help ramp it up a little, taking 5 min. to open up a message during the day is quite frustrating

I'll be more than happy to donate here in the future. Unfortunately after the death of my dad, I've had to pick up alot of the slack financially.

As soon as things get better here at the homefront, I'll throw some money at the Mane

I joined up during the playoff run in January, and I must say I LOVE this forum community more than any other...

This is a "free" site for the posters, but not TJ. I feel like I've received a tremendous value here. I'm a CU fan and I belong to some paysites that get the type of info we get here, and they charge $10 a month. I'll give what I can every month so that I can continue to enjoy the fellowship and great Bronco info here!

P.S....How much does Boob owe the Mane for wasting server space?

I expect things to normalize soon. We just have everybody in the world beating down our door when camp reports come out. If they don't normalize, I've got another ace up my sleeve, thanks to the support we've been receiving, along with an early bye week to implement it.

We'll see how things go.
