I've watched alot of vids float around the net but this one just might be my favorite thus far. The amount of planning that went into this is simply incredible. Everyone is always looking for the quick reward. Things worth doing take time.........

You sure did. We're heading into the first real bad hot stretch of the year.

On the average, Las Vegas gets nine 110+ days every year. We've had as many as 29 days over 110 in a single year, though. Those are the killers. After ten straight days over 110 degrees, temperatures of only 100 actually feel cool.

I like the deserts myself. Your desert is pretty tough. The Sonoran desert in Arizona is ok, a human can actually survive there with judicious use of water and fauna. That desert from the high desert in California west of Riverside into Death Valley to the Utah border and south into El Centro, that's a killer, IMO. We've camped dang near everywhere, but that basin around Vegas is as desolate a landscape as I've ever seen.
