Default Prayers needed for AK1971 - Updated

Late last night my friend called me with some bad news that his house was one of three involved in a fire. I was informed that all had made it out of the house ok and are just trying to cope with this situation. He wanted me to let all of you know he would be away from the mane for a little while.

Man, that's a worst nightmare - losing all your stuff. At least he was able to get out. Give him our best.

Just talked to him. Not only did they lose their house they lost both of their home offices as they are both self employed. They still aren't sure what happened but he said he's just grateful him and his fiance are ok.

AK said he looked out his window and saw flames. He grabbed the dog and ran out of the house. By the time he got out he said the house was blazing. We had some real strong winds yesterday which I'm sure made it worse.

Andy and Janelle are real strong people and will pull through this. If they don't get online somewhere else we'll forward some of the messages to them.

Oh no! I hope he's ok. That really sucks. Pass on our prayers to him, as well.

While still dealing with the wake of Katrina in my life...I continually come back to the fact that life is the most precious of things....keep focusing on the fact that life was not lost. Everything else has a way of working out.

Stay positive guys!

Damn...that's true. WHAT ABOUT THE ORANGE TUX?!

J/K...I hope Andy and Janelle are able to rebuild their lives very soon. All hail the orange pimp!

BTW, I saw that one of the houses had a mother and three children. I hope all of them are OK, as well...

Wow, that's terrible. Barring injury to someone, that has to be one of the most awful things that can happen to you.

Thinking of you, AK. Let us know if we can help.

I definetly feel for them. The weird thing is I was in a real estate closing with Janelle Ak's fiance yesterday. She's a mortgage broker and did the loan for my clients dream home. After we left the closing I left with my client to walk in their new home for the first time while Janelle must have driven home from the closing to see the smoke and flames at her house.....damn

What an awful story. We bust each other online but I really like Ak (even though he wants to beat me up ). If you guys talk to him let him know I wish him the best.

Man, I hate to hear of stuff like this... Thank God both he and his fiance are fine (relatively speaking). I'll keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow. Prayer works. It sounds like he was lucky to get out of there when he did. God speed.

I have had to deal with several fires and there is nothing scarier or more devastating but in time you heal, you recover and find your way again. My fires were all VERY minor in comparison to this one.

I'm glad they're ok and if they need anything, let us know. I went to school with Janelle and Ak's one of the coolest guys ever. I'll keep them in my prayers.
