Pretty cool article on Barbaro. They put a million pins in that poor horse but he keeps improving. His stall looks embarassingly like a freakin' shrine. I know, we have soldiers out in the desert, but I see no wrong.
Evidently, he's adjusted well and you can tell he knows to keep most of his weight on his good leg. Hopefully he gets out and will play with the filly's in a few months. It's so challenging because you can't put a horse in traction. I'm not sure why you can't put them into a sling, I'm no horse expert, but evidently the horse has to be able to stand on that broken leg. Any normal horse, even a fine horse, would of been put down. It's a neat story. I have no doubt he would of won the triple.
