I would think S.D. is getting warm. No mention there.

Big whoop. He was #1 on the hot seat last year too and he responded pretty well.
But hey, the media loves a QB controversy. |

Their frst two should be the last two on that list. Using the players they listed, my list would look something like this:
1. Kurt Warner 2. Rex Grossman 3. Mark Brunell 4. Billy Volek 5. David Carr 6. Byron Leftwich 7. Aaron Brooks 8. Jake Plummer In order to truly be on the hotseat, you have to have someone waiting in the wings. That really isn't the case with the last four (yes, that includes Plummer). |

"..there are whispers that the team isn't thrilled with him and that first-round pick Jay Cutler is the future of the franchise."
I love this quote. One of the reasons that you draft QB's in the first round for the first time in 10+ years is to make him your future franchise QB. ![]() |

Jake Plummer Broncos
What a crock. I have not seen anything that says the team isn't thrilled with jake. I have lost all respect now for SI. Yes Jay is the future but plummer is not on the hot seat this year. |

From the article: "Assuming he can stay healthy, Grossman will be the Bears' starter, but he'll have to hold off Brian Griese and, to a lesser extent, Kyle Orton."
He must really be feeling the heat. Griese has such a hot hand. And his arm is unbelievable. |

Depends on how fast Cutler picks up the offense. I don't see Shanahan being afraid to put him in if he thinks he can run the plays.

I would actually argue that there is a hot seat in San Diego, it just isn't Rivers'. Whoever made the decision to trade Brees, whether it be the coach, gm, etc could potentially be on the hot seat if Rivers doesn't pan out. Perhaps there will be a free pass for this season all around, but if Rivers doesn't pan out next year, heads could roll for trading Brees.

Jake sucks! He's been nothing but trouble.
As long as Jake is "pulling the trigger" we will never win the Super Bowl! ![]() |

Not in the FIRST ROUND. When you draft a QB in the first round, you're sending a message to your current starter. Green is 36. |
