Default Your favorite 5 about sports

Give me your favorite or most exciting five things about sports....any sports. Mine are:

*NHL playoff game 7's. They really are the best thing in sports. Of course, I'm what you'd call biased.

* A last lap pass in racing.

* A KO at the end of the game with a tiny amount of seconds left on the clock. The returner takes the ball all the way home and it works, no penalties! ( A rarity, I know. )

* Fights. Can't help it.....I love em...no matter what sport they're in.

* A beautiful pass...be it in hockey or football.

Penalty shots.
Great hitter vs great pitcher in a big situation.
Goal line stands.

.....and twins.

1. Playoff overtime hockey - nothing is better in sports

2. Great pitching performances - I'm still waiting to attend a no-hitter (best I've seen is Dontrelle Willis throw a 1-hit shutout as a rookie)

3. Russ Springer throwing at Barry Bonds - even if it takes him 48 pitches it's still funny to watch

4. The first Saturday of college football - can't wait for the season to start

5. Being at a football game when there's a huge hit - The crowd lets out an audible gast like when Lynch destroyed Dallas Clark in 2004

walk off homerun
potential no hitter/dominant pitcher striking out 10+
perfectly thrown deep ball that leads to a huge gain or td
stopping the opposition on 4th down
game winning drive of like 70+ yds with less than 2 min to go

Just turned it on. Aaron Cook continues to get very little run support.

Players like Kobe, TO made to look like fools
Bonds striking out
Opening Day of Pro and College football

1. Every play of any Broncos game (even pre-season...)

2. Every play in any Buffs football game ...

3. Avalanche Game 7 in NHL Playoffs. Bonus if it goes into OT.

4 and 5 ... just too distant from the top 3 to merit mention.

Too many to list. That's why I've been a sports addict for over 30 years.
