This issue kinda "fell off the radar" a couple of months ago, but because the administration is especially vulnerable on it, I certainly hope it doesn't "Slip into darkness."

Wasn't there a 90-day review ordered? Those 90 days are ticking down . . .

Goldman, Macquarie Each Bid $4.76 Bln for AB Ports (Update4)

June 15 (Bloomberg) -- Associated British Ports Holdings Plc received competing 2.59 billion-pound ($4.76 billion) bids from Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Macquarie Bank Ltd., opening a battle for the biggest port owner in Britain.

The bid by Macquarie and London-based investment company 3i Group Plc of at least 840 pence per share matches one by Goldman Sachs today, whose offer of 810 pence AB Ports had accepted yesterday.
