The car must have spun around and crashed into something backwards to propel him into the back seat like that. |

How lucky is that guy? He was almost ejected/decapitated.

I love how he can't be bothered to use both hands to correct himself back onto the road...

This guy has to have been killed. It doesn't take much to snap a neck and sustain massive head trauma.

Although the human body can withstand some remarkable punishment, I'm sure this guy still needs to have his head examined, in more than one way!

The car ends up on it's side with the guy's head in the dirt. The next few seconds would show if he survived. I don't think he did though.

Besides, I think he survived. Right at the very end there you can hear him say, "doh!" |

Nice legacy. Maybe in his next life he won't be too lazy to use both hands on the wheel. |

Back in my stupid youth, I logged many miles half asleep on LA to Vegas runs. Its incredible, but almost crashing your car at 65 mph won't wake you up for more than a couple minutes.

Yeah, I had the same experience driving the windy road from Southern Idaho to Northern Idaho during my college days... I remember once dozing off, swerving to the side of the road, waking up in a panic.... Only to repeat the same thing minutes later... That's when I learned that pulling over for a 15 - 30 minute nap was a worthwhile idea... |

Colorado Springs to Denver will do the same thing, dozed a few times on that trip. What I found scary is that absolutely nothing happened, I was able to keep the car squarely in the lane the entire time I dozed, I had driven that stretch so many times.

Mine was driving from SoCal to Portland. I was about an hour south of Stockton, and I guess I drifted off a bit...but those beautifuly ugly grooves they put to the left of the fastlane on the 5 woke me up, and I was never close to losing control, but I was pretty much out. After that I turned on the AC full blast, rolled down the window for the wind, and cranked up the stereo...I made it to Sacramento with no problem, and was able to drink a few cups of coffee, and take a wicked good piss.
The guy in the video is not a good...come responsible driver like us though. He got lazy, and got spun like a gawd damned top. |
