I met Taylor Hicks last week when he made his trip home to Bham.

I was helping out our entertainment producer w/ coverage of it. I'm the sports producer for al.com. He's a good guy.

But I dont watch American Idol and dont care for it.

Funny thing: Carrie Underwood came right out of my hometown in Tahlequah OK. She was a student at Northeastern State Univeristy... which = grades 13-16 for the local kids who couldn't manage to go anywhere else. I couldn't care less about American Idol because there are a zillion other ACTUAL MUSICIANS that could smoke these fools, but get no recognition whatsoever.. but Carrie is my homegirl, like it or not. Chris Daughtrey is still hot, he has awesome talent I love him. He is right up there with Vin.(sorry heydensmom but matthew is losing his ranking)
