What's your lineup lookin like
How many rooks figure to plug in? Just curious. Here's ours (to the best of my knowledge.)
Offense. QB - Brooks Vs Walter RB - Lamont Jordan FB Zach Crockett (unless that 300 LB dude from Kansas steps it up or Zach Tuiasopsop) SE - Randy Moss FL - Jerry Porter TE - Courtney Anderson LT- Robert Gallery LG - Barry Simms C- Jake Grove RG - ? Brad Badger although I hope my boy McQuistan makes some noise here RT - Langston Walker Defense LDE Derrick Burgess (you'd figure this guy for a RDE, but he likes playing this spot better, and the results bear that out) DT - Tommy Kelly DT - Warren Sapp RDE - Ty Brayton (with Johnstone manning this spot in nickel/dime situations) WLB - Kirk Morrison MLB- Danny Clark SLB - Sam Williams Although I see Morrison eventually playing MLB with Howard on the strong side and Bing on the weakside and Clark as a situational short yardage guy. Sam Williams has the durability of a potato chip, so penciling him in here is wishful thinking. Hey Bill, what's the deal with Walker? He's shown some skills but Crypt keeper went and got Brooks. Is that insurance in case Walker sucks or just decent depth should Walker break out?

I sure as hell wouldn't have wanted to roll into the season with Walter, Tui, and some dude fresh off an NFL Europe stint. They only signed Brooks for 2 years, so I dont' think hes being viewed as a long term answer. |
