No one ever said it was a blowout but with the way Miami was playing, 6 points might as well have been 50.

No doubt. Dallas played their worst game of the postseason in that game and still won by 10. Miami is in trouble.

BTW, Miami BEAT DetRiot. Therefore, I think they should at least be #4.
Im confident that Memphis would have taken care of the Nuggets pretty quickly. They have a post scorer/defender and oodles of great athletes and scorers. They also had a solid coach who got top quality effort out of his players. Memphis always played Dallas tough in that series. Dallas was just a better team. Remember, Memphis had the fourth-best record in the west. They had a better record than the Nuggets and the Clippers.

Essentially, Dallas beat the top 3 teams in the west beside themselves on their way to the finals.

On Miami...
I just dont see it. Maybe they'll put together a nice game or two in the finals and make it close. Maybe they wont. From what Ive seen, Miami is nowhere near the competitive level of either of the three teams that Dallas has faced. That includes Memphis.

If you're going to go by record, your list is still incorrect then. Memphis was not the fourth best team in the West, no matter what anyone says. They looked lost out there in teh playoffs. The biggest surprise to me in the Dallas-Memphis series was that Dallas didn't blow them out in all four games.

Memphis is the most overrated team in the league. There's not a doubt in my mind that they would have lost to every other team in the Western Conference playoffs.

I still don't think Dallas is playing close to its best basketball. They have let downs and are inconsistent over 48 minutes. I'd hate to see them put it all together for a full 48, because they would be unstoppable if you take out some of those stupid turnovers.

Im intrigued to see how Shaq and Wade will play tonight after two really disappointing games. Part of it was Wade not 100% but Dallas deserves credit for the good defense they play. Tonight it is a must win and far as im concerned they must win every game at home in this series or they are toast IMO.

Wow...total control for the Heat until the 3rd. What the heck happened.

Cool, at least it made this series interesting for Dallas on the way to a Mavs title.

Wade had an amazing game. He refused to let his team lose. That was pretty cool to watch.

Mavs came up short in the 4th and couldn't match Miami's best effort. Does anyone honestly believe Miami can come out like this every night for the rest of the series?

Don't believe that. Guy acts like he's on the verge of death every game.

Dan Crawford Strikes Again.

The moving screen call on Dirk with 3 minutes left was classic Crawford.

He's the NBA's secret weapon. It was a lock that he'd ref tonight.

6 minutes left: 8 fouls called on Dallas, 3 on Miami

You want to believe it was all Dallas' fault, they let up, they choked ... whatever. They were up by 11, Miami was then given a huge officiating advantage. This game should never have been close. It would not have been if someone else reffed it.

Crawford has been the referee in a Dallas playoff game 12 times. The only one we were able to win was the one where Dirk scored 22 in the fourth quarter. That's what it takes to beat Dan Crawford.

DAN CRAWFORD = RIGGED GAME

Hey I didnt like the officiating either, the technical on Wade was BS and then a couple plays later Dampier was hanging off the rim and no T? Refs were inconsistant in this game but that moving screen bob was the right call.

Dirk has been the top clutch performer in the regular season and the playoffs without a doubt. I'll forgive him one free throw.

but wait isn't a free-throw basically the easiest single shot in all of basketball? And wouldn't the most salient example of a clutch situation be NBA FINALS, UNDER 5 seconds left, Down by 1, Shooting a Free-throw?

Are you suggesting he didn't 'choke' so much as simply miss a the second free-throw of his last 27 attempts, which is on par with how he shoots in all situations?

Cause I'd agree.
