ethanol stocks - The Orange Mane

Some of you are a lot wiser then myself on investments and with ethanol being required in gasoline I was curious as to your thoughts investing in ethanol companies. These companies in particular: ANDE, PEIX, GPRE, ADM

hell only advice I can give is to stock up on Shot guns , Canned food and duct tape ......

Market is still nascent at this point. Your looking at a 5-10 year play on those stocks, with the big question being: Can GM pull of the ethanol based fuel cell technology their working on? If so, the upside is huge.... if not, prolly not so much.

I'd personally hold off for a couple of years. Ethanol is kind of hot right now, but its still well ahead of the curve in terms of real market potential. Your likely to find better buy-in opportunities close to their actual revenue inflection points.
