The jury has reached a verdict in the sentencing trial of al Qaeda terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui -- the first U.S. criminal case arising from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The verdict -- either death by lethal injection or life in prison -- will be announced at 4:30 p.m. ET.

I don't know. It's entirely possible that the jury will feel that solitary confinement for the rest of his life is a harsher punishment. We'll see...

Maybe we can sentence him to a Jewish prison where the only thing he can drink is alcohol and whatever else is against his religious practices.

I dont know making him sit in a cell with no TV , no radio , no one to talk to , for 23 .5 hours a day 7 days a week .... that would be far worse , then anything else we could do

On the witness stand, Moussaoui displayed a complete lack of remorse for the 9/11 deaths, saying he was sorry only that the attacks weren't more lethal.

"I just wish it could have gone on the 12th, the 13th, the 14th, the 15th, the 16th, the 17th. We can go on and on," Moussaoui said. "Like they say, no pain, no gain."

Well that's the worst thing for him personally, but for others it's something else.
