Hopefully this is true.
http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=14424 Reza Pahlavi, son of the late Shah of Iran, told the editors of HUMAN EVENTS last week that in the next two to three months he hopes to finalize the organization of a movement aimed at overthrowing the Islamic regime in Tehran and replacing it with a democratic government. i've only scanned the article, but it seems to me like this guy has got all the right answers. he seems too good to be true. keep in mind that talk is cheap... i haven't seen any sign that the revolutionary guard would be anywhere close to supporting him or any iranians who might take to the streets in civil disobedience. they as well would be painting targets on themselves.
let's hope this guy's not just another ahmad chalabi. |
