Default Sooooo, Fan Fair...

Who all is going?

I saw an ad for it today in the Denver Post and I'm thinking of going. The only problem is that it's the weekend before final exams, so I don't know how long I can stay, if I can attend both days, etc.

Anyways, yeah. I was pissed I missed last year's and I want to go this year. Anybody else?

P.S. -- Will Jay Cutler have security protecting him from Jake?

This is why I'd go... Not just Cutler, but any Bronco. I'm an autograph mark. If I could get my Champ jersey auto'd and framed that would be damn sweet.

At least the prices have gone down over the years! I still think they should charge for the Fan Fair!

Don't want to rain down on your plans but the Fan Fair is a joke...at least the last 2 have been, it's a great day for KIDS, the put on lots of programs and such but as for meeting the players it's very hard. You can only really pick one or two, because of the lines and time limits, you could start in a line waiting for Champ Bailey, then by the time you get there it is Paul Ernster, some people or kids will get a kick out of meeting any players but you could be dissappointed if you had a paticular guy in mind. I only got to make it in line for the rookies last year, when I got there the only one left was our O-Lineman that quit the team the next day...

Maybe if you attend just to get autographs it will be a bit disappointing. But some of the "meetings" and Q+A forums are quite interesting.

I agree with both Pacino and Nut. If you have your heart set on meeting a particular player good luck. I've gone the last couple years and really enjoyed the QA sessions. Those alone are worth it!

I've heard the same complaints from Broncos fans on the scene and in here after the event. You can wait for an hour or more in a line and not even know who is at the end of that line. I'm sure it's tough task for the Broncos to try and accomodate all the Broncos fans but IMO if you are going to have a FAN FARE day and charge admission than they should get enough players out there mingling with the fans/doing autographs.

If you are an autograph seeker your best bet is training camp not Fan Fare but who knows maybe the Broncos will address the autograph situation this year. If you are looking for a fun day to spend with the family, cruise the stadium, and want to listen to the QA with the players than you'll have a blast!

I can't make it down this year so I'll look for your report Khan/anyone else. Let us know what the rookies say!

Yes I attended alot of the meetings since the autograph thing was not going to work out, they were somewhat informative but alot of fluff, they really didnt tell me anything I didn't know or wouldn't see posted on the team website. I guess I wouldn't advise you not to go, at least once, but I knew a few people that planned their yearly vacation around since it was un-expensive they were really mislead and let down by the whole thing. I guess you just need to know what you are getting, If you are not really interested in a paticular autograph, and like listening to a DE coach talk the same stuff they do to the media, having vendors sell OVERPRICED Bronco gear throughout the stadium then it's the place to be. Parents with kids should take them, I would have had a blast there if I was 8-10 years old, but as the old timer I am I get more out of Training Camp, I got something for Fred this year, oh yes something indeed...

I went to the first fan fair and it was fun. My son got auto's from Plummer, shanny, and Rod.

I got to play Madden against a cheerleader....it was supposed to be a bronco but they sent a cheerleader instead. So after I played her they let me stay for the next Bronco who turned out to be none other than J Sykes. He was real cool down to earth, we had a good game and he signed a couple of things and took a couple of pics. Then We went to the trivia game and my son when Spencer asked him to name a player coach....lol

Just may go again this year

Oh wait a second. I thought fan fare was this saturday. We'll probably be down there for the first day of the event.

As far as the admission price goes I could be wrong but I think the money raised goes to charity?
