He's actually better today than most days. It's almost painful to listen to him shill for pro athletes as he does practically all the time. According to him, athletes basically should be able to do whatever they want, say whatever they want and treat people however they want with no backlash from the fans. Then there's his brilliant (and often repeated) philosophy of, "If a player demands more money, that player deserves more money."

At least we're spared listening to Scott Hayseed for a day as he's in L.A. for the Nuggets season finale.

I ran into Al at the nuggs game on Saturday, and I asked him about the draft. He said he really like the Cutler pick and getting Walker, he tried to talk a little about Scheffler, but I don't think he knew dick about him.

I rarely listen to the fan because I can't stand pretty much all of their on air "talent" Moser is the only one I was able to tolerate, but now with Clough, I can't listen.

Looks like they somehow managed not to get Dumervil on as they've been advertising since the beginning of the show.

Jesus, I sat through listening to Alfred Williams laughing at his own lame jokes for two hours and didn't even get the Elvis interview. Awesome.

For real. He'll go off about how every player who holds out or complains about something is totally justified.

Dumervil Interview with Irv Brown & Mike Evans.

Excited and glad to be a Denver Bronco.

Says he's a good pass rusher because of his ability to get off the ball quickly at the snap.

Was told plenty of times that he was too small to play college football at his position and enjoys proving people wrong. Wants to continue doing that in the pros.

Doesn't want to put on any weight and lose any quickness, but said he will if the team wants him to.

Said he studies film of guys like Derrick Thomas and Dwight Freeney.

That was it, a typically lame interview when Irv Brown is involved. Irv's a nice guy, but unless he interviewing someone as old as he is, he seems almost lost.

Benches 455lbs,

Watched Derrick Thomas and Dwight Freeny, when he grew up.

I couldn't hear what he said he squatted.

really not too impressive

That's what we've got weight rooms and training coaches for. I bet he bumps that up to 400 plus next year

don't get me wrong, 455 pounds on the bench is a freaking BEAST. But, legs are where the power comes from.

He was on in the morning with Jim Armstrong and said he benches 360. In their notes they said 390 and he said no that it is not correct its only 360. It was refreshing that he was so honest!!

then it's probably swapped around....455 is a LOT better for squat. 360's pretty decent for a bench

Nope, the press box guys said 490 (as was used in this AM Denver Post) and Dumerville said it was 460.

Actually it was 690 squat and 660 bench. It was on the PM version of the two o'clock show which aired at eight this morning.

Well I think our knuckle dragging DE has been working on the bench solely to jack up his bench press numbers.

Your bench shouldn't be higher than the squat. And his squat number is terrible for a DL.
