The best thing about this...the Mavericks get to beat up on the Clippers while San Antonio beats up on LA in round two.

The NBA is a ****ing script.
Nice non call as the Laker player grabbed dudes jersey at the end of regulation and kept him from breaking to the basket full speed. Dude is rocked back and his jersey is stretched out but no call. The Nash is hacked like a mother at the end of OT and the refs call a jump ball. For the record I am pulling for the Lakers cause I want the Clips to take them down next series but that was an absolute joke. The NBA has no credibility. I'm waiting for an NBA player to do what the Steeler LB did after the Indy game and just openly question the refs bias. Sorry Phoenix, you just aren't in the NBA's plans. But both of Kobe's shots were money. He just should not have had the 2nd opportunity. |

The officiating early on in the game all went Phoenix's way
Kobe barely played in the 2nd quarter. |

Bitter Sun Fan? Like the above poster said........the refs could have called a foul on Nash When he CLEARLY pushed his man to the ground on that play. And Who fouled Nash? lol.........he lost his balance and cries foul |

Happy Clips fan. Read a little more closely before making a fool out of yourself next time sparky. I want the Fakers to win because I want our shot at them next series. Although after today I wonder if the NBA will even allow them to take the floor vs. the annointed ones. Apology accepted. |

I hate the Lakers but i do like Kobe. And i think after the rumors of Nash getting the MVP in a landslide Kobe is out to prove a point. I really cant see how Kobe doesnt get it though because he is working with a lot of scrubs on that team.

Lol......if the refs wanted the Lakers to win the game, they could have called that PUSH BY NASH. NO ONE FOULED Nash. LOOK AT THE REPLAY. suns/clippers fans, whats the difference? They have how many rings between them. Last edited by SAGE; 04-30-2006 at 05:16 PM.. |

In OT, again, Smush hits another 3 to bring them within one point. I guess the NBA was guiding that ball in the hoop. I guess you missed Nash push his man to the floor just to get open to get the inbounds pass. If the refs were going by the script, then why didn't they call a foul then and just hand the Lakers the ball? They then have to tie up Nash. How could the NBA have made that happen? Then Kobe has to hit another tough shot to beat the clock. Yeah, again, David Stearn has his remote control and guided that ball right in the basket. It was a great game, and a great finish. The refs were calling fouls at the end of the game, which happens in just about every NBA game. |

The funny thing about this possible all LA series, which looks like it's going to happen, is that the Laker flags will be flying, and Clipper fans will be crying about respect. The Clippers are on the up swing, and the Lakers are on the down swing, but the Lakers are still the story. The Lakers have this city buzzing. All the talk is about the potenial upset of the Suns. All the talk is about the Lakers. |

Good shot by Bryant as well. Smush Parker had an awful lot to do with pulling out that victory too. His three over Nash kept them in the game, and then his steal/assist led to Bryant's layup to tie the game. He also helped on the trap that forced the jump ball. |

6 seconds to go in the game.
4th Quarter. You're the best free throw shooting player in the league. What do you do? You get the ball, grab it with both hands, cover up, and bend over like you're in jail. What does Nash do? Gets the ball, and tries to dribble out of coverage. MVP move. |
