Let us all sit back and rejoice the brilliance of Gonzolays. Its is one thing to call a big name draft pick but it is a whole other animal to call a supposed 4th to 7th round draft pick at the 61st pick in the second round. By my count, I have selected one more pick than Requiem's "insider." THE GREAT GONZOLAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Great work Gonzo. Maybe you could go down to Dove Valley in September and wave goodbye to him when he gets cut.

Big whoop. Now that you've got this off your chest, you can go back to jerking it to gay porn.

Sheffler is a solid pick. Shanny is big on measureables (and I am sure he is going to touch on the fact that this guy was their second rated tight end on the board blah blah blah...similiar measureables to last years first round pick heath miller blah blah blah) and the simple fact of the matter is that he is better TE prospect than Lewis, Klopenstien, and Fasano. Everybody loved those TE's because they played at the big schools, nevermind the fact that those guys are no where near the athlete Sheffler is. Sheffler was two sport star at Western Michigan. He batter nearly .300 on the baseball and if he can see a ball coming at him at 90 mph and hit you better believe he can pick up a big ass football coming at him. He is bigger, faster, and more talented than any TE in this draft outside of Vernon Davis. Good pick. |

I met Scheffler while I was covering WMU sports last year, a good kid and hard worker.

He looks a lot faster than Putz on film, particuarly his burst off the line is MUCH faster with better separation and makes better RACs than Putz.
Hopefully Plummer doesn;t hang him out to dry like he did Putz so he'll hold up. We arent getting him for the blocking but as a safety valve for JAke/ Jay |

Question: Will Sheffler be better than Nate Jackson or Wesley Duke this season?
