The Saints would be absolute fools to do anything but take Reggie Bush. They've had a rare phenom drop right into their lap, a guy who'll bring a ton of excitement to the fans out there as well as sell a lot of tickets and Saints jerseys.
Drew Brees is used to having a versatile weapon in the backfield who can run as well as catch, so I think the two of them will get along famously. |

In that case, the Chiefs trade Jerome Woods for the rights to Mario Williams!

I vote for Jets trading up from 4 to 2 for Bush.
They trade #4, #29 and a 3rd or 4th |

I just heard my trade proposal on ESPN. He said that the Saints wanted #4, #29 and a 3rd. |

I vote for the Saints trading #2 to the Jets for #4. Personally, I think the Jets will recoup more than a 2 and 3 this year. I think they'll get a 2 or 3 this year and a 1 next year!
This makes sense for the Jets to go and head and pull the trigger. NY always wants that big name player for marketing purposes. Couple that with the fact that the Saints were torn between Mario Williams (now gone) and D'Brickashaw as their favorite players for the # 2 selection. With that in mind, the Saints can still land D'Brick at # 4 and pick up some great compensation in the mean time. While some of you make the case for Reggie, you must keep in mind that A. He doesn't want to play in NOLA. B. The Saints just gave big money to Drew Brees and he's coming off of injury. Help up front is paramount. C. Drafting D'Brick allows the Saints to keep Brown (last year's #1) at RT where he is, by all accounts, a future Pro-bowler. D. The Saints still have Duece McCallister and while he's coming off an injured ACL he is still a top 10 back in this league. Vote for trade down to #4 in exchange for the Jets 2nd and 3rd round choices (to keep it simple). The Jets then take Reggie at #2. |

Allright, so I assume that the Saints now own the 4th & 29th picks.
The Titans will take Vince Young. |

Titans take a QB. Cutler or Young? Or Leinart...since he played under Chow.

If you're talking about moving up two spots to get a guy like Bunkley then yes it's too much. If you're talking two spots to get a guy like Reggie Bush (widely considered the best prospect in 10 years!) then no it's not too much. To put into perspective, the Giants gave the Chargers two #1's, a 2, and a 3 or 4 so that they could take Eli Manning #1 overall. The Saints are actually in a better position to deal b/c Bush is a better prospect than Manning and he's not gonna get the same amount of money as the #1 overall pick! |
