Default D'Angelo Hall says he's the best!!!

On Budweisers Hot Seat segment on ESPN. He said he's the best CB in the league and is up there "all by himslef"! He's good but he's no Champ!

Never liked this a-hole, even when he was in college.

How is he an a-hole because he's cocky and confident.

He's up there as one of the top 5-10 corners and may one day, be the best in the game. Champ is on top for now.

He is a class guy. He is a good CB too. Hell, there are probably 10 other CBs out there that say they are the best and not half as good as Hall.

Probably because ECU couldn't buy a game against the Hokies.

Look at it this way...

If they both were making the same amount of money, would the Broncos trade Champ for Hall?

Would the Falcons trade Hall for Champ?

He is one of the best, but he still has a ways to catch up to Champ!

Actually when Hall played at V-Tech, the Pirates couldn't buy a win against anybody. Good job of matching the Pirates with Greenville, NC. I really am not that big of an ECU fan though myself. Didn't graduate there or anything. The fan expectations for Pirates atheletics around here is ridiculous. They keep crying for ECU to join the ACC when they can't even get out of the cellar in the C-USA. Hall is a prick though, I don't care what you say.

Maybe they think Jeff Blake has some eligibility left

I graduated from Tech and I'm about 250 miles north of you in Richmond. He might be a prick...I don't know him personally..but he's a damn good corner and return man.

I'm not debating that he is a good corner, he is definitely a solid cornerback. But like most NFL players, I don't really care for his personality.

When Jeff Blake and Robert Jones were here under Bill Lewis, ECU was an exciting team to watch. Anyone remember the 91 Peach Bowl when the Pirates came back from 3 touchdowns down to beat N.C. State. Greenville was out of control for the next few days. Especially considering N.C. State is the Pirates biggest rival. ECU was 11-1 that season with the only loss coming to Illinois on a very questionable excessive celebration penalty that gave the Illini great field position.

Likewise, I never said he wasn't good. He's just not the best.

I vividly remember that bowl game, one of the better ones I've seen.
