Jake reminds me of guys I went to HS with. Very laid back...and hot. Still not nuts about the beard, but I understand the sentiment behind it.

Jake is lying. He was throwing interceptions while Trent Green was warming the bench.

It did take Trent a full, what, eight years to even win the starting job?

It doesn't really matter, so I'm not getting involved in one of these.

Sure it does. It means stint-leg is a slow learner and is only worth four seasons of production.

No, it means he was a bloody eighth-round draft pick. No one knew any better until he got a chance.

You would think the redskin coaches would have seen this phenomenal talent on the bench, and would have started him over Gus...oh well...

They finally did, and Trent blew away any season Gus ever put together.

A season so amazing, he was not resigned when his contract was up at the end of the year...

Bob's just got sand in his vagina because NFL Network did an In Their Own Words on Plummer and not TrINT.

Jealousy's a b****, eh Bob?

What was the trouble Jake got into before the draft or it could of even been before heisman trophy voting? It was something with a broad can't remember exactly though?

Back to the non-Bob, non-Chef topic at hand, I say half of the show last night.

He talked about his friendship with Tillman, which is where the beard came from. He talked about being a leader on the field. He talked about his life outside of football. They had a segment from his time in AZ, at their camp in Flagstaff. He had a cam inside his helmet, and it showed what he saw. QB is definitely NOT the place for an indecisive person.

I am gonna ask other folks who say it there opinion, but it didnt really pull punches. It brought up some of his less than shining moments (they missed the left handed toss into the endzone for an INT, thank God), and he talked about that. They had a pick he threw last year against Carolina and then the comments the Panthers were saying on the bench. They had another shot of him talking to Shanny after throwing a pick in endzone against KC, and Shanny was telling him, "No, it was never there, Jake." He didnt offer excuses, he just said he needed to improve.

I am a fair amount of a Plummer homer. Of all the pro athletes I have knowledge of, the reminds me the most of myself. We are about the same age (he's younger). He grew up in a smaller city like I did, has some similar interests, some similar attitudes on life. I cant help but like the guy - even if he doesnt always do the best thing out their on the field.

Its a good watch, I recommend it for all Broncos fans.

Now back to the Boob hi-jacking on this thread... when are they gonna have an "In their own words: TrINT Green" episode. I can hardly wait for that one. "Well I sat forever. Then I got a chance but mean ole Rodney Harrison hurt me. So I watched Kurt Warner steal my glory. Then I trekked across Misery to KC. I coulda had a ring here in KC if my coach and owners knew what defense was. Its a shame, really. Well, that's my story."

My only beef is that NFL films seems to be boycoting the Broncos and there was no new footage. Most of the show was stock footage of his time at Arizona. I understand he spent some time there but he's played three seasons in Denver and they only had hilights from two or three games here.

It was pretty cool hearing about where he cam from/grew up and the music video he made for his mom when he was 13 was hilarious.
