If we pass on Bunkley I'm going to break something.

Justice won't fall that far.

He is a fool if he thinks Bunkley will fall to 21. He won't even fall to 15.

If we pass on Hali and he ends up a chef so we can take a fricking wr I'll spam the board with anti Shanny messages until Taco Bans me!

Not to mention passing on Winston Justice, Brodrick Bunkley, Marcedes Lewis, LenDale White, Manny Lawson all in the name of a future bust

Dr. Z doesn't have a clue about the draft anyway.. Remember that year he had us picking Jamie Nails in the 1st and then he wasn't even drafted on the first day? I believe Buffalo ended up taking him in the 4th.

If the Browns take Wimbley and Bills take Huff (both good possibilities) I think him or Ngata will.

I think the Browns have made strong indications that they would not pass on Bunkley if available at their spot. I'd love it if they did, though.

Rumor now has it that Oak is trying to trade up to #4 to grab a QB and Jets will take Ngata at #7.

Brick or Davis would slide to Buffalo if that happens.

They've also made strong indications about Wimbley and Ngata both who would be better fits for a 3-4. Bunkley is too small for a NT and I don't think he is that great of a fit at DE. I think Romel is blowing smoke.

Could be. Though it should be noted that Bunkley played NT at FSU, so he has experience in the 3-4.

For just a nose tackle wouldn't getting Watson for a lower pick make more sense? I love Ngata (manfully) and think he's be great in a scheme like TB ran with the over and under tackles. But a nose takle pretty much just needs to anchor

This is why I think these mock drafts are just for entertainment and amusement only, but not to be taken seriously. I believe that all these guys do is pass around the latest news rag to see what someone else thinks is a team's needs, and they just parrot that, or they plug in some guy that they think they should take.

No way in hell does Bunkley fall to the Pats. Personally, I don't think he gets past Buffalo, but that is just me.

Problem is that there are very few of them that are any good. And with everybody going to a 3-4 there is a premium on a NT that is more then just a 350 ball of fat.

So. Would Bunlkley look good next to Warren?

I cannot abide fools who pick the Broncos to take Jackson. If they take Holmes I'd be diappointed, particularly if they pass up a good Dlineman or even a very good RB. I could take a Maroney or even someon way out there like Greenway. I hope, at least, they get a player who may be playing some this year.

The whole report about Warren playing the undertackle really has me baffled. IMO it's a lot easier to find an undertackle so why waste your top talent on that position?

IMO Bunkley could probably fill either position, whereas I really doubt Ngata can play the undertackle role.

Z might be a douche but he can nail the top 15 a lot better than most draft-gurus. His draft last year was one of the more accurate ones.

I think the rationale for Warren as the UT is that even at 300 pounds and strong, he's scary quick, and he prefers the one gap, and pretty much flunked out of Clev in that role. But, the success of an undertackle is pretty dependent on whether there's enough talent to prevent double teams. Presumably Ngata as an overtackle would require center help on a bull rush. Or a speed rush guy at RDE would either have one on one, or require the TE stay in.

Wilson also factors in, because with his lack of size, one of the DTs has to pick off two lineman on the run. Unless we go back to Robinson's scheme.

Actually, he two-gapped in Cleveland as well, which was one of the arguments made in his favor, e.g. he's a better fit as a one gap which he'll play in Denver. For whatever reason (personel I guess), we used him as two-gapper anyway. Fortunately for us, he performed much better in that role here than he apparently did in Cleveland. I am excited about the prospect of him finally being turned loose in a one gap role.
