JOE KLOPFENSTEIN, Colorado, 6-5¾, 255 - Has drawn comparisons to Baltimore's Heap. Speed, long arms and leaping ability make him a top receiving threat. Can adjust well to inaccurate balls. Technically sound as a blocker, but needs to add strength and bulk to take on DEs. Moved up draft boards with excellent Senior Bowl and combine.

I consider him the 2nd best TE in this draft, ahead of both Pope and Lewis. If he's there at 37 he would be my choice unless somebody falls that we don't expect, like Manny Lawson.

They can get him off the liquid barley diet and get his strength up. Jesus, he's from Boulder, it's a miracle he can walk.If we could pick up Klopper and Hesten, I would be happy if we take a DE early. Last edited by watermock; 04-23-2006 at 08:42 AM.. |

I'd prefer Tony Scheffler from Western Michigan, we could probably get him in round 4 and with a little coaching he'll be damn good.

Jeff King has the best hands in the draft.
