That doesn't surprise me, Moser is an Avs homer. I've rarely heard him say an ill word about them, even when they deserved it.

Moser is definately a homer and I've begun to dislike him more and more over time.

Crosby with a lower back injury. Probably wont return to the game.

That puts a serious hurt on his 100 point plans.

Not me. They sell out every game to Avs fans. Sorry. I don't want to see the opposition's goals replayed. Not at a $165.00 a pop for the tickets.

Those goals will be on Sports Center later if I want to check them out.

The vast majority of the crowd pays for the Avalanche scoring. Other fans don't like it? Too Bad. Sooooo Sad. I don't want to see any other team score in the first place, let alone bring down the energy level by having to see it on the big screen.

I think it's a fine policy.

Wisconsin wins the Frozen Four!

What a great final and a great end to another great college hockey season!

Well I don't want to see them score at all either. I know that if I was there and the opposition had scored, I wouldn't want to see a replay of it either. I keep trying to remember how it went in Calgary, but I can't.

It is amazing how the opposition scoring shuts the crowd right up. It was so damn loud when we were in Calgary and when the Avs finally scored, ya coulda heard a pin drop....well except for me and the 10 others Avs fans that stood up cheering. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I wasn't wearing the guy's nachos that was behind me when I stood up. I kept waiting to get pelted with something.

Every NHL arena I've been to does not show goals scored by the opposing team on their jumbotron. I'll see what they do in Calgary on Thursday for ya, Mtn (if the Avs score ).

The way I see it, the home team shouldn't be obligated to show the visiting team scoring, even if it is a Mike Legg-style gretest goal of all time. You can see every goal scored on NHL.com and if it's a real spectacular goal those hockey afficianados at ESPN might even show it on Sportscenter.

It would be nice if the NHL offered high quality highlights online. Even if you had to pay for it. As it stands, they only offer free highlights in streaming snow vision, which for a game like hockey is pretty worthless.

CAN anyone here recommend some good golf courses for the Kings' players in a few weeks? While most have 5 games to play, Kings are in 10th place and 3 games to play. I believe if San Jose wins just one game (2 points) , they are toast. Predators are a sinking ship and fine time to pull that off. Question for maners: Do they restructure the seeds after the first round? Red Wings, do they always play the lowest seed or is the playoff seeding set throughout the 3 rounds for the Western Conference?

Wisconsin is a good defensive team, but Elliot is certainly talented. Had a great year, was in the Hobey hat trick and had a great NCAA tournament.

Wasn't that just lovely. If Theodore's bloated contact prevents the Avs from making moves to improve the defense for next year, I'm going to be pissed.

Default Begin on crutches; Aebischer to play Sens

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=161928&hubname=nhl

The Montreal Canadiens look like they'll have to make do without forward Steve Begin, who arrived at the Bell Centre on crutches on Sunday.

Begin sprained his left knee late in the first period of Saturday's 3-2 loss to New Jersey when he fell awkwardly after taking a slash from Devils defenceman Ken Klee.

Begin was helped off the ice, putting no weight on the knee, and taken to hospital. He had an MRI on Sunday and will see a doctor on Tuesday.

Netminder David Aebischer will get the call in net for the Canadiens against Ottawa on Monday. He turned aside 44 Ottawa shots in a 5-3 victory over the Senators on Thursday night.
