I'd be surprised if both stayed. I'd expect one, but not both.

Some good news for Avs fans...

Calgary left a point on the ice in their overtime loss to Edmonton last night, and they play the Predleys in Nashville tomorrow. So if the Preds handle their bidness tomorrow...the Flames will pretty much have snuffed out their advantage with three games in hand...we'll see how tomorrow goes...but if the Flames come away with anything less than a regulation win tomorrow...it's a pretty good omen for the Avs.

Every gawd damned point is critical now.

Also...apparently Jose's new teammates like him...perhaps they owe his old man money?

Geez. What kind of woman do you all think I am?! If Mike Ricci was a star for us, I'd be just as happy. Theo being darn good lookin is just a plus....provided he actually does something worthwhile for us.

In a tribute to hockey moms and to raise awareness of breast cancer, hockey players such as Tie Domi, Mats Sundin, Steve Yzerman, Sidney Crosby and Ed Belfour will use pink sticks during games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Chatham Daily News reported Wednesday.

Each player, and goalie, has his name inscribed on the stick, which will later be autographed and auctioned to raise money for breast cancer research.

I read that today in the paper and thought that was very cool. I didn't catch any games tonight to see one though.

I think cancer has touched almost everyone one way or the other, what a wonderful gesture by the NHL players.

Holy smokes! Was anyone else watching the Preds/Flames game? That was quite the game. An utter penalty and scoring fest.

I wonder how Habs fans are liking the trade.

Just doesn't look like Aebi has clicked up there yet.

Any of you that watch NCAA hockey. Can you fill me in on Brian Elliot (Wisconsin Badgers goalie). I heard he's top candidate for best goalie award (not sure). Not bad for a 9th round pick for the Sens.

Well the leading scorer in the NHL uses that stick. Tell that to him.

I fell in love with it from the moment I shot with it. Incredibly light with awesome flex. I like the curve too, for some reason Im more accurate with it.

That sticks gonna get me into DU (I dont fully understand the dynamics of college hockey, but I'm playing with some guys who played for the University of Minnesota of Duluth, and I'm keeping up pretty well.)

Naw, I was referring to your whole getup to take the pic for us.

Good luck with your hockey career.

I hope you've taken figure skating lessons because remember you told us the best skaters have taken them.

I just did that to get a photo of some new equipment that I bought. Thats not all of it... those Oakley visors are steep, almost as much as my helmet. I had no idea I was going to post it here.

My figure skating teacher was someone I attended high school with. I taught her how to play drums, and we did figure skating for 3 hours every Friday. Now she's the manager of The Edge Ice Arena in Littleton

Yeah, I suck at figure skating.... Um.... I was able to pull off a single lutz pretty well .... I almost got a double.
