I thought he got a bit of a raw deal in COL - i understand why it was done - but i don't think he was the 'root' of the problem.

And please, don't get into a contest of who's team is more incompotent.

.

IMO, some players had started to tune him out in 2003 and Lacrock wasn't happy about the 3 out of 4 losses in the WCF's

a friend of my brother from high school (air Academy) was an asst. trainer for the kings (haven't heard from him since the lockout and not sure what happened after Murrey was fired) would sell them to my brother for a few bucks every year. He also gave my brother Jamie Storr's regular season catcher, blocker and leg pads a few years back just before the playoffs (I guess they like new pads for the playoffs).

Avs website confirms the Liles signing. In addition the Avs re-signed Jeff Finger and signed free agent forwards Mark Rycroft, Ben Guite, and Matt Murley.

The Avs have also hired Jeff Hackett as their goaltending coach.

Anschutz is from Denver. He lost the bid to buy the Avs/Nuggets and in a fit of pique bought the Kings the next day.
