I don't know anything about Stewart, but at hockeysfuture.com they nailed this pick, and here's what they had to say about him.

"A less-than-impressive performance at the draft combine may drop the winger, but Colorado would love for this player to fall in their laps. Tough with touch, Stewart would help the team in its effort to deal with an aging forward unit."

Edit: At 6'1 and 228 pounds...he has some good size. Something the Avs have been sorely lacking on their front line since they traded Deader.

For the record, I wish Tang would have gone at least out of the division too. Luongo up in Cansuck land sucks. The least he could have done was stay out of our division if he wasn't gonna play for us.

I'd take Pronger or Jovo.
