Is this thing STILL going on?
I thought Edmonton was dead... Anyway, I couldn't care less about hockey right now, but I still hope Edmonton takes it. |

Erik Cole is back for the Canes after being out for months with a neck injury.
People keep talking about how loud the Edmonton fans cheer. Believe me, they whine even louder and have for years. ****ing welfare team now wants to pretend that they're the center of the hockey universe. Hilarious. It'd be sweet for them to have to watch the team that doesn't deserve to exist skate the Cup on their ice. |

Yes, I can only hope that Edmonton can afford the flight out there. If not, I'm sure they'll just whine to the league for another handout.

Woot...Game 7!
Canes can get their heads out of their behinds any time now. What a dominating performance by the Oilers. Canes thought this series was over after Game 4....they look tired and they are beat up. I'm rooting for Carolina, but I think the Oilers complete the comeback on Monday night. |

Nothing better than a game 7, I suppose.
Ah well, we have hockey for a little longer. |

Team Welfare or not, the Edmonton fans have been awesome this series.
Three straight game 7's in the Stanley Cup Finals and 4 of the last 5 seasons have seen the Cup raised at the last possible game. I've always wanted to see an overtime in game 7 of the Cup Finals (except in 2001 where I would have suffered a heart attack). I'm really hoping for a 3-3, 4-4 type game with a bunch of action, hitting, intesity, etc that goes into OT. Who will be the next Alex Tanguay, Jeff Friesen or Ruslan Fedetenko? I'm betting it's Fernando Pisani. NBC's coverage of the Finals should be commended, too. |

Ever wonder why you get a lot of **** about hockey here, Smurf? The above statement sums it up pretty well. Those words should never be uttered if you're a true hockey fan. |

And you're a b****. I'm a better hockey player than anyone on this forum...
Too bad World Cup football is on, which is a kajillion times bigger of an event than the Stanley Cup. Anyway, good on Edmonton, I hope they take it. |
