A oiler fan wrote this on another site, i thought it was kinda funny.

I lost my beer hat in the commotion of last night...good thing I woke up this afternoon and found it again. Anyways back on topic...

Our Dvo, who art in heaven...or the pressbox,
Mullet be thy Name.
Thy Gator's come.
Pronger's will will be done,
At Rexall as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily win,
And forgive us our tripping penalties,
As we forgive those who dive against us.
Lead us not into losses,
And deliver us from Anaheim.
For Edmonton is the (Magic) Kingdom,
and the power(play),
and the glory,
for ever and ever.

Amen.

I picked the Ducks, but I'm rooting for the Oil. Besides, if Edmonton wins the Cup, the Avs move a draft spot (from 18 to 17).

Report: Kings target Crawford

TSN.ca Staff
5/19/2006 8:40:49 AM
The Los Angeles Kings are set to hire Marc Crawford as head coach, according to published reports.
The Los Angeles Times reported Friday that new general manager Dean Lombardi could make the Crawford hire official as early as Monday. Crawford would replace interim coach John Torchetti, who took over the Kings after Andy Murray was fired with 12 games to go in the season.
Crawford spent the last seven seasons as head coach of the Vancouver Canucks. He was fired after they missed the playoffs for the first time in five seasons.
Kings defenseman Aaron Miller, who played for Crawford earlier in his career, told the Times he was excited about the prospect of re-uniting with his former bench boss.
"He definitely demands and gets the most out of guys," Miller told the Times. "He's a great bench coach. He understands who was playing well and gets them on the ice. I mean, he's won a Stanley Cup, what else do you have to say?"

Oilers over Ducks in 6.
Sabres over Hurricanes in 7.

I'm ambivalent about these 4 remaining teams so I don't really care who wins. I wouldn't mind seeing Buffalo finally win a major sports championship or Edmonton win the Cup for the first time since 1990. I guess the only team I don't want to win is the Ducks, mainly because of Brian Burke.

Sigh, well I might as well keep the streak alive

Ducks in 5
Hurricanes in 6

Be sure to go to Vegas and bet the opposite of my picks since I've been dead wrong the entire playoffs

I've got a great streak for picks this year, so I have to post picks. I figure I have a much better shot at picking being that there are only 4 right answers.

Oil in 6
Sabres in 5

Hey, since Crawford's in over in La La land, I wonder how many plays he's made to keep Sean Avery. Those two are like moral twins, 2 peas in a pod with no morals.

True, but there is no way Bertuzzi will ever don a Colorado sweater. Signing Brad May is one thing, but the Avs organization would literally lose fans if they acquired Bertuzzi.

At first, then when he puts up 40 goals, 100pts and 'bertuzzi's' someone else they'll be back.

Lacroix justified the signing of May saying that while May said some stupid things, he wasn't the one who hit Moore. So Lacroix is all of a sudden going to bring in Bertuzzi? Not likely.

Bertuzzi is a shell...he's basically charmin at this point. He has always hurt his teams and he always will. He's a cancer and I'd seriously question this organization if they brought in Todd Bertuzzi.

Bertuzzi was a shell before the Moore incident.

I know. I'll never forget the 2001 WCQF. Game three...overtime. Vancouver gets a PP and what does Bertuzzi do? He shoves Eric Messier's face into the ice; Forsberg scores on the next shift and the rest is history. He's a cementhead...the only reason I don't call him cementhead is that that name is reserved for Keith Tkachunk er Tkachuk

Yep, he also once cost himself the Art Ross Trophy by jumping off the bench to get into a scrap and getting himself suspended for 10 games. That was actually one of his best seasons and he still found a way to screw it up through his own stupidity.

You don't get it. This is one guy who can't play well enough ever to gain absolution from Av fans. Never. And to say anyone in Colorado would EVER want to see someone else "bertuzzied" is also just plain wrong. Sorry ames. I never want to see a repeat of that. No matter who wears what sweater for what team.

Did I say Ducks in 5? Is it too late to change that to Ducks in 25? Good lord, Edmonton ran circles around them tonight. And once again, Edmonton gets another short-handed goal.
Bryzgalov looked average in net for a change. You can tell that team had some rust to shake off tonight as they get smacked down 3-1.
