And seriously, what is up with the home team sounding the goal horn for the visiting team? That's about stupid. I saw that go on down in TB in an earlier game too.

Having your own goal horn sounded when the visiting team scores seems much more like a slap in the face than, oh say......having their goal replayed on the jumbo tron.

Wow. The Gagne-Forsberg-Knuble line is a combined -11 in this game.

Again, wow.

Russian franchise might sue Penguins over Malkin deal
The good news is that Malkin is openly saying he wants to be here this upcoming season 100% and I think the transfer agreement will get worked out.

The bad news is that his interview with the Russian Sport Express was terrible. Its obvious that he is already jealous of Crosby and there is going to be a problem. And that whole thing about how he is insisting that his contract provides equal ice time as Crosby isn't good. Maybe we should trade his rights to Minnesota for Gaborik and a decent player.

So the 2nd round is set for the Eastern Conference.

1. Ottawa vs 4. Buffalo
2. Carolina vs 3. New Jersey

Here's something odd. All 4 of the top seeds in the Eastern Conference advanced to round 2. If Anaheim wins tomorrow night, none of the top 4 seeds in the West will have advanced to round 2.

Gotta love playoff hockey.

I was going to ask for 2nd round predictions, but I guess we should wait until the last series is done.

Ottawa and Buffalo is going to be a great series.

I think the Sabres will put up a helluva lot more fight than the Lightning did, Al. Don't be so sure of yourself.

Sens/Sabres will be a great series. I'd be shocked if it was less than six games.

Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if it was less than 6 games. Sens are awesome when playing against skilled teams that aren't very physical.

Havlat in lineup = lost 4, won 20.

I like it.

Talk about being let down.......oh well, in the words of the mighty Al Bundy, "If you gotta lose...lose big"

BTW, all you Flyer haters can suck my sack.

Gotta go with the team that beat mine...Go Sabres! ....and if that doesn't fly, well then Anyone But Ottawa .

Methinks you are really hoping there are still some Peter lovers among the Flyer haters.
