Blakie really picked it up after the All Star break and the Olympics. He had a few games in there where he was just dominate.

Guys like Srastins have been such solid performers. I hope he gets a payday out of that cap increase the NHL is going dole out.

I'm not going to analyze the future matchups. In order to get to the prize you have to stand 'em up and knock 'em down. That's why I love hockey playoffs. Whoever is left standing totally earns it.

San Jose scares the crap out of me and I'm not talking about Thornton, Bernier and Cheechoo are beasts. Toskala is another stud out of the San Jose goaltending factory (wanna bet Nabokov is in another uniform next year....hello Tampa Bay!). San Jose's speed is killer. I think the only weakness is that there is some inexperience on their blueline. Best matchup for Colorado....the Ducks. I have a lot of respect for Anaheim, but nothing would be better then sticking it to that POS Dr. Brian Burke.

I agree, I'd like the Ducks too. I still have nightmares concerning the last series we played against the Sharks. I want no part of that.

Gotta get my kudos in for Jose as well.....he was freakin awesome out there to put it mildly. My 9 year old daughter is taking after her mom when it comes to hockey.

She was almost as excited as I was when they won.

Oh, and I must also add...that Jim Dowd signing is looking better and better every game. I had to retrain myself to say the MIGHTY Jim Dowd instead of referring to him as Jim Dud.

Hmmm, just imagine if the Habs were to lose.....I'd love to read the Habs fans rantings after that. And they couldn't even pin it on Aebi.

It honestly boggles the mind to think that not everyone is a hockey fan.

The SC playoffs are the best, bar none.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! What an unbelievable finish to that Oilers vs Red Wings game. One of the more riveting and stunning finishes I've ever seen! Hemsky with the fantastic finsher and the Oilers move on.

4 goals in the 3rd period by the Oilers to send the Wings home for the summer. Unbelievable.

If Calgary wins tonight, it's Calgary vs Edmonton in the Battle of Alberta and the Avs vs Sharks. I'm hoping that, at the very least, Anaheim can push this series to a 7th game.

It just shows how tough the Northwest division is. 3 out of the 4 teams could all possibly be from there.
