That dude is a heavyweight boxer who has obviously had some training. I dont know if he would hold up very well in MMA, but he could definately knock one of those UFC guys out if he landed a solid shot.

Yeah,well talking big on the internet is lame. What I'm saying is when a guy can drop his guard it shows how stupid the fight is. If it was really no rules as in the type of combat that I train for day in, day out, I'd kill that dude no problem. But since it was strictly a fist fight, he can get away with it.

I know he looks real bad, because he is big, and black, and crazy looking. But I have been whipping big guys asses like him for a long time. You just have to train. He is as vulnerable as a 6 year old kid when he PUTS HIS GUARD DOWN, and I'd destroy either of them. Now if he keeps his guard up and fights for real, that would be tough and it would be real ugly for one of us. I'd NEVER fist fight with that guy though, fk that.

Nothing, but most white people are scared of black people. I don't know why, but they are. I'm not talking big, I'm just saying that as a martial arts instructor in the Marines, if someone puts thier guard down, and gives me a free shot, he will be in the ICU if I want him to be. If anyone puts thier guard down, I can train a 6 year old to put that person in the ICU. You just have to the knowledge, combat mindset, and basic ability to do it. Now when he put his guard down in that video, it showed that basically they were all about trading punches, and there was no way that poor scrub was going to hurt Kimbo. I'd love to see that guy fight in pride though. He's another Bob Sapp to me.

That's true, but you can see that over a long match, he would get worn down just like Sapp does. That left uppercut he hit that cat with was nice though.

I have seen Sapp knock several opponents literally off of their feet in fights. Three that I can remember and I havent seen but maybe 6 or 7 of his fights. If he breaks your guard and lands that straight right, its over.

Bare knuckle fights are crazy, the guy who beats kimbo in this fight looks TERRIBLE, but he won. He ducked his head on every punch, and never gave Kimbo that uppercut, but his forehead was JACKED UP!!!

I found this one fight a few years ago, this cat breaks this dudes arm, then get a fire extinguisher, and bashes the dudes face in till it his skull is crushed and his face goes in and not out. Nasty stuff. It looked SO real, but so nasty that we doubted it.

freak15- quick question for you:

you mention that you're a matrial arts instructor... how well do most martial arts hold up in fights vs expert fighters?

flashy kicks and moves are definately an impressive display of agility and control and whatever else.. but when pitted against a very skilled opponent, they seem pretty ineffective.

just something i've kinda noticed, curious to see what martial arts instructor would say.
