Default Broncos showing interest in Maurice Drew.

Yeah, yeah -- as they're showing interest in a lot of guys -- but the article is stating that he could be a surprise pick for the Broncos or Steelers... or perhaps even in round one.

Yuck to that.

Drew aint a MoC.

I would be happy with any of these guys 3rd round or later:
Mike Bell
Drew
Riggs JR.
Norwood.

For what it is worth, Kiper's ranking:

Mike Bell = #21 RB rating 6.5 - marginal to make a roster
Drew #7 RB rating 8.8 almost a sure thing
Riggs JR. #12 7.5 probably make it as a backup
Norwood. # 15 75. probably make it as a backup

Well Donnell is making the calls to his former Boss to pimp the kid. Don't pick up the phone Mike. I like him as KR/PR only.

Drew is a pretty solid threat in the passing game. That alone will help him.

He's Bob's favorite RB in this draft.

REP for the first person to (accurately) say why,

Because Bob has dated a guy named Maurice and a guy named Drew?

Nice and definitely worthy of REP which you will get.

Although what I originally had in mind was all the commentary and sight of Drew at the combine re: his well built lower body.

Drew would be great as a punt and kick off returner. He is ultra strong, quick and fast and has all the moves to take it to the house on any given opprotunity. I say 2nd or 3 round he goes.

According to this Board there are about 200 players already guaranteed to be picked in rounds 2-3.

Mock, I will never forget your one line characterization of him, which turned out to be basically what he was: "going around acting like the great white hope while shaving his balls".

That is good news. I think getting a KR/PR guy is a smart play for improving both offense and defense.
