I thought it would be nice to have one thread where we could post our mocks then dissect them. Here's mine v 1.0. It's just the 1st round later rounds may come.
Revised 1:30 am 4/18 1. Jets- Reggie Bush 2. Saints- D'Brickshaw 3. Titans- Leinart 4. Texans- Mario Williams 5. Pack- Hawk 6. 49ers- Huff 7. Raiders- Young 8. Bills- Ngata 9. Lions- Justice 10. Cards- Davis 11. Rams- Bunkley 12. Browns- Greenway 13. Ravens- Cutler 14. Eagles- Jackson 15. Broncos- Hali 16. Dolphins- Jimmy Williams 17.Vikings- D. Williams 18. Cowboys- Holmes 19. Chargers- Hill 20. Cheifs- Kiwi 21. Pats- White 22. Denver- Maroney 23. Tampa Bay- Sims 24. Cincy- Lewis 25. Giants- Cromatie 26. Bears- Pope 27. Panthers- Giles 28. Jags- Ryans 29. Texans- Winston 30. Colts- Carpenter 31. Seahawks- Moss 32. Steelers- Mangold Feel free to rip it apart. I'm going to revise as the draft approaches. BTW I like Hali but not at 15 but the way it played out I see us reaching and nabbing him. I also like White more than Maroney but I think the Pats ignore all the bs like they did with Dillion and take the bpa. Last edited by phisig150; 04-18-2006 at 01:33 AM.. |

15 is too high for Hali who has been falling.
Dont think the Bills will go for VD, they just drafted TE Kevin Everett last year in the second round. He missed the season with a minicamp injury but a 2nd rounder is a pretty decent investment. I heard they still like him too. Ravens wont go for Cutler even with their QB problems. Billick was just complaining today in an article about the problems with drafting a QB in the first, saying he should have listened to Walsh when he said dont draft 1st round QBs (quite surprising that he would make such a damaging comment about his QB in public, even though Kyle struggled...you dont say that in public). That's too high for McNeill. Winston is still there. McNeill is a projected mid 2nd. Texans need OT help more than OG. Winston would still be there as well as Scott (and Colledge). I doubt they would go for Jean-Gilles over either. Cincy and Cromartie? They are REAL happy at corner with James and Deltha and are in dire need of a TE. Lewis and Pope are still there. That one just JUMPS out at me. Chargers wont take Hill. They need OT and WR first and foremost. Also ILB. They are happy with Jammer and will probably address CB later on, not that high. I basically agree with the rest of it though. Good stuff.

Here's a couple of scenarios I've been kicking around.
If Broderick Bunkley should fall out of the top 10 (a distinct possibility), make a deal with St. Louis. Trade them the 15th pick & our 2nd rounder (#61) for the 11th pick and their 4th rounder (#109). Take Bunkley with the 11th pick and then White, Hali or BPA at #22. That would also leave the Broncos with 3 4th round picks, which gives them the ability to package a couple of them together to move up into the 3rd round. Or...... Trade the 15th, 22nd & 61st picks to San Francisco for the 6th & 37th picks. Use the 6th pick on Vernon Davis and the 37th on Mathias Kiwanuka (who would be an absolute steal at that point). Just some ideas. Thank goodness draft day is less than two weeks away, I think I'm running out of scenarios. ![]() |

If AJ is so adament about trading Edwards (which is stupid IMO) in SD they may take a LB in the first. If they do IMO they will be reaching. So that's what I'm predicting.
AJ is an idiot. First Brees and now Edwards. If Bolt fans existed they would be pissed. |

This is more trades (in Italic) than we will see on draft day, but they are good trades for both teams involved.
1. Jets- Bush (NYJ now have a player they can market) 2. NO- D'Brickshaw (Over stocked at DE and Brees needs protection) 3. Tenn- Leinart (Reunited with Chow) 4. Hou- Williams (Wanted Williams or Brick, knew one would be here) 5. AZ- Young (Noone behind Warner Green wants a top QB) 6. SF- Hawk (They stayed pat hoping for AJ and got him) 7. Raiders- Huff (Speed that AL likes and D needs a boost) 8. Buffalo- Ngata (need help on middle of Dline) 9. Denver- Vernon Davis (Because its my mock) 10. GB- Sims (Wanted Mario but trade down for athletic Sims) 11. StL- Jimmy Williams (secondary needs this) 12. Minn- Cutler (Brad Johnson is a stop gap) 13. Blt- Bunkley (Billick gets screwed by Minn...REVENGE!) 14. Eagles- Justice (Was going to trade up for him get anyways) 15. Detroit- Greenway (Millen decides to pass on Chad Jackson) 16. Miami- Holmes (Teams feels he compliments Chambers better) 17. Clev- Deangelo Williams (What an Offseason for the Browns) 18. Dallas- Chad Jackson (To strp in when TO starts to whine) 19. SD- Cromartie (No brainer for SD) 20. Chiefs- Ty Hill (CB is obvious choice) 21. Pats- Lawson (perfect fit) 22. SF- Richard Marshall (SF really bolsters D) 23. TB- Jon Joseph (May change if they land Woodson) 24. Bengles- Wimbley (good fit here) 25. Giants - Carpenter (need to rebolters LBs) 26. Chi- Donte Whitner (Good D just gets better) 27. Car- Lendale White (Fox's advice lands Lendale) 28. Jax- Maroney (Taylor can't carry load anymore) 29. Hou- Mangold (After watching Nalen, Kubes gets a top tier Center) 30. Indy- Addai (No Brainer) 31. Sea- Jasen Allen (will take a chance on greatness) 32. Pitt- Moss (replaces Randel). |

Ballhawk, I think that if that many trades happened, and things went down that way, I would explode in happiness. Really. Guts all over the place.
