I've posted earlier I've done some mock drafts on other sites where members of forums get together to do their forum mock drafts, and this is what I've pulled off.
We initially traded #22 and #119 for #33 and #66. Then we traded #61 and #66 for #36 I believe. We took Chad Jackson (sorry, the guys we wanted weren't there!), Leonard Pope at #33 and we're about to take Mathias Kiwanuka at #35 for the end position. Regardless if you like the prospects or not, to land 3 of the top 40 players (on most boards) is pretty impressive. The draft is only three rounds, but we still did have #126 and #130 to address other areas of need. Defensive tackle would have been our next target, and #130 would have probably been a running back. Thoughts? |

Note on why we traded #61 and #66 (I think SoCal would be sad about this!) -- is because we felt that Ekuban and Lang are old and aren't the long-term solutions for us at end. Either is Engleberger and C. Jackson. At that point in time, a pass rusher like Kiwanuka was more important to us then. Also, a lot of teams were showing interest other defensive lineman as well and it looked like a run of ends and tackles were going to come now.

Bunkley and Ngata targeted at #15, and we were going to hold down on a receiver until later, (hence why we traded down from #22) but that screwed up our plans as well.

I'd be thrilled if things shook out that way on draft day.
Good job. |

If it were me, I'd try to deal with the Packers and deal the 15 and 22, plus Lelie and a 4th rounder for Walker and the 5th pick to take TE Davis. Broncos get a WR in Walker and a TE in Davis, while the Packers get a WR and extra picks to try to fix that bad defense. Maybe that helps entice Favre to come back too if sees they have tried to fix the defense.

I wish you would traded down at 15 too. I like what you did though. Most hate it but, I think Denver should trade down and get better value. I'd love to address DE DT TE S RB early so we need 2 more picks at least.
