Default Mock's first mock draft

This is just a bronco draft. Hammer away

1. This is hard, because you all know I have a man crush on VD...(wow that sounds weird and rather medical). Regardless, we send 15 and lelie and our #4 for Duke3. A deal with the Great Pubah Favre to move Lelie is also an option to move up and swap Lelie and Walker somehow.

2. Trade down to around 28 and try to get Lawson and pick up the lost third.

3. Get some big body on the DL to protect Gold.

4. Hope Jarious Norwood is there in the fourth.

4b. Jeremy Bloom

5, 6, glean for scraps.

i like it a lot mock but i think u forgot 2nd round where i think DT is great(Wright,Wroten,Watson & mccargo). but all in all i agree on about everything. except i say a WR in there would be good(besides bloom). not sure who but stovall at 61 would prob be more of a steal than the DTs who could be around if were early in the third

That's the pick of the 3rd. A big body.

I don't know if Lawson can protect Gold enough tho. We will just see how it plays out, I'm allready pissed off.

Good picks (no RBs or WRs in the first, that is nice to see). I also don't understand where the second round is, the big body is in the 3rd (which you acquired by tradind down in the first).

i think lawson will be put on the protein shakes 5 times a day diet, put on 5-10 before pad time and will trade off with lang and courtney brown at the beginning and ultimately move lang to backup duty at LB and DE, or if courtney can stay healthy we move him to DT but thats a huge IF and probly not likely

I have a question for you guys. I'm working on a mock draft for fun just to see how I fare (first time I've reallly attempted one). So I'm trying to figure out what the Broncos are going to do but I have one question which could affect what I have Denver doing:

Concerning the trade with the Falcons and the Jets, what exactly went down? From what I understand, they came calling to the Broncos and the Broncos were just in the right place at the right time to benefit from this deal. Is this what happened or was Denver more aggressive in this deal?

I'm sure other posters around here followed this more closely than I did. But my understanding is that Abraham wanted badly to go to Atlanta, and did NOT want to go to Seattle (mostly for family reasons). The problem was that there was a point when Seattle had the best deal on the table as far as the Jets were concerned. Abraham's agent probably had some earlier contact with Denver since the Broncos were also very interested in him.

My guess is that Abraham's agent was probably the most important catalyst in all of this, and that Denver was just active in the right place at the right time, and flexible enough to help the deal go through.

But that's just a guess.

Nah. Shanhan got a bonus for facillitating the afternoon tea betwixt the parties involved. However, we mayu never know the actual, factual exactical reasons how it was that Shanahan got his hands into that deal.

Doesn't matter. It happened, and the Broncos enjoy good draft status. As it stands at the moment, I do not expect them to trade up or down., contrary to a lot of the faithful hereon. Furthere I am still calling for Bunkley at 15, Wembly at 22 and Fasono at 61.

My opionions, however, be bought. Cash only.

Sounds like you love picking players who are hyped up. Haha. Oh well.
